Buckin is the real article I have been watching him back before he had 10k and would read everyone’s names out that became new subscribers on video! His positive attitude is infectious to say the least! I was a man that did tree work for years but gave it up to get a better job for my family! Now I run my own Tree company and have the same job I always had! As a great man has always said you can do anything it is never to late to do what you are passionate about and it is never to late I am now in the process of starting another business and I am 38 years old! Their are 100 dollar bills laying all over you just got to find a way to have people give them to you for a job well done! And it can be the most basic of things Trees, pick up peoples garbage, Pressure washing ,pool cleaning, depending where you live! Their are thousands of jobs out there that people don’t want to do or can’t do they would rather pay someone to do it! Fallow your heart and do what makes you happy I can tell you from experience their is no better feeling than doing a good job for people with your own company! Like Buckin said it is your name on it make them proud to have you I get more business just from doing a good job and word of mouth from my customers than any advertisement ever! And that is no joke you never know who your next customer is going to be. Some have very few friends some have 100s of friends that are well off! Always do your best and forget all the rest and I can guarantee you will get so much work just from your Quality alone! And always give credit where credit is due even when they want nothing for their help! Thank all of you and Buckin truly changed my life like nobody has and I haven’t even got to shake his hand yet! So love to all and like the man says BE KIND! You get more bees with honey than you do with vinegar! ✌🏻🤟🏻🇺🇸🇨🇦✊🏼
@@BuckinBillyRaySmith Love ya to brother we have only just begun! Just finished a tree Job on Sunday now I got neighbors on both sides knocking down my door for as much work as I just finished! I am from Washington state just below ya brother your videos are so relatable for our area! I can’t thank you enough for all that you and the Buckin Army do can’t put a price on your inspiration! Cheers brother have a great day just getting ready for mine! 🤟🏻👊🏻
Ole Buckin is inspiring. I'm glad he started a new spark in my life because I had almost given up on people and today I feel so alive because I just got home from dropping and bucking up 1 cherry tree and a big Bartlett pear tree that fell into it and damaged it. I realized that helping someone doesn't involve money and just hanging out with him made my day. Thanks again everyone
That was magnificent Buckin and Larry you did such a great job on the lower view. Thank you! That was a beautiful bit of cutting Buckin and it shows your craft and experience. So glad you found that phone. It would have been such a loss not to able to see such masterful work!
Yeppers... and Larry on the camera following the action was pleasant view. Something we don't get too often with Billy, don't realize how cool that camera zooming and movement enhances the Buckin Billy Ray experience. Of course love the tripod camera shows but this is some great camera work.
Oh, how I’ve missed the glare from that scratch on the lens!!! I am grateful to God that you found your phone! This was great footage! Shout-out to Larry! Thanks for helping make this video!
Wow , that’s truly where you belong Billy ray . Pleasure to watch . Beautiful job on those tall firs 🌲 perfect 👌 love to see the Mac 81 ripping as well . Thanks for sharing buddy 👍🏻🇦🇺🌲🪓
Ha ha... thought the rolling log was gonna take him out. Camera angles can enhance the fear level. Fear is excitement, it makes you know you are alive and when it passes it releases pleasant feelings. Good stuff 🤠
"If you are choosing to be unhappy then you will stay that way. But, if you want a way out it's right freakin' there. Grab it. You're the only one that can do it; nobody is going to make you happy. No woman can make you happy, no man is going to make you happy" (BBR, 2022). He's soooo good it's difficult to appreciate the skill let alone understand it...even while watching it unfold! There's a million subtle things he's doing - it's just amazing. Please don't try this at home:) -
When I was 5(14yrs old now), ma dad bought a dolmar (can't remember the model). Thats the first time I saw a chainsaw. It was a heavy saw but my dad was swinging that thing like it was only 2 pounds n I loved how that thing was getting through the timber the mega roar and also the oil burning smoke which I love to smell all the time(till now). Generally I love chainsaws. U'r an amazing dude also ur videos r amazing too, working with heavy chainsaws while editing ur vlogs nd uploading them on time for us to enjoy. But Billy pls also consider about plating trees too:).... love from Sri lanka!!!!!! I'm Sasandu.
Awesome video Buckin, glad you found your phone so we could come along with you on this awesome job. Love you brother keep banging away and tell Larry good job on the filming
Huge thank you to Larry gettin up that bank and camera still rollin. Love it. Great work Buckin and great explanation on buckin logs cleanly. Thank you sir. Love ya brother.🌲❤️🌲👊🪓
Hey Mr. Larry! Thanks for helping out! You did an awesome job at that camera. Larry, You did such a good job filming, Buckin might have side work for ya!! Buckin, so glade you found your phone, that's awesome brother! I just can't believe how good you are at your job Buckin, really nice work.
Buckin’s channel is becoming like a book I can’t put down . Every video I watch keeps me intrigued, for more , fully engaged and I get to learn so much about forestry and logging techniques from someone who’s so passionate & positive. Im in utter awe at the years and sheer dedication behind this man . it is so refreshing and I’m just so happy to have found this channel . Good day to you , Larry & the Buckin community. 🪵 💙🌲💪🏻 🫡🇨🇦🇬🇧
I learned so many little tricks from this channel it’s crazy. Plus a lot of the tips are in a lot of the videos so it’s pounded in , like I couldn’t forget .
Really good to see that quality of work. For someone like me, whose chainsaw work has been mostly cutting up storm blown timber for firewood, it's an education to see proper extraction, with consideration for the value of the felled logs, taking place. Thanks for sharing this.
Larry your a Diamond. Loved your camera work. Matching hands and all. That was some professional buckin right there. That little sliver out is a revelation. Done thousands of cuts buckin logs and learned more here today than i taught myself in ten years falling Trees. Master on the job right here. Beautiful logs.
Hi Larry! Greetings from Amsterdam! & to you Billy; I appreciate your craftmanship and wisdom. You truly know your trade and it's marvelous to watch you perform these incredible takedowns flawlessly while staying humble and friendly. It is amazing.
Loved this!!!!!! What a gaggle of great shots from Larry. BBR, that shot was bang on. I bet plan A was to try and drop the second tree but you knew deep down plan B to drop them in tandem was really plan A. Skill and experience personified!
HI Buckin, Never commented before but been a fan/subscriber for a few years now. Just wanted to say i found this video really engaging, learnt a bit "bangin on a proper hard lean". Truly inspiring! talkin of which i'd better get on my fire wood situation haha. Keep on it mate
Big fan of yours! I don't find myself putting in enough time with my saws right now, but you sure are an inspiration! Hoping to someday soon be helping an arborist friend again, like I did some years ago, but for now, I really enjoy learning so much from you! Blessings to you and your family!
Wow each time I see a video i GET MORE IMPRESSED, that you are ahead of what your doing, right down to the stumps . You are re-creating a lost art in appreciation. Thanks man!
Thanks Billy, I have a few trees on my property that need to come down and you’ve given me tons of good instruction on how to get it done right and safely.
Buckin. Your skill and expertise always amazes me. Without thinking twice. You made the decision to knock the second one over with the third tree. Beautiful job. Love it. ❤
This is a crackin' video Buckin and Larry; great footage Larry, captured it well. Seeing that big tree shift when Buckin knocked that wedge in - amazing. Buckin', you're an inspiration and I learn such a lot from you. Thank you
Hi Buckin Billy Nice job learned a lot. Your a good man. Seeing you work and giving good advice with a positive outlook on life helps me be a better person. God Bless you!
Thanks Buckin’, you’ve certainly been inspirational for me. When I was 16 the careers computer at school told me to be a tree surgeon or arborist, but all the adults in my life said I was smart and should go to university; get a “good” job. I listened to them then. In my late thirties I took a part time job as a groundsman and had reason to use a chainsaw from time to time, and I loved those days. About two years ago I was trying to fell a big lime tree and it sat back on my bar. I roped the tree so I it couldn’t fall, got a wedge in to free my saw, and then went to RU-vid for advice. That’s when I found your channel. The advice and inspiration your videos, along with Reg Coates, August Hunicke, and Guilty of Treeson gave me, meant a year ago I took a month off work, went and got my felling and climbing tickets, found work with some local tree surgeons, and since last October have been out on my own. I’m a Jack of all trades so my tree days are only part-time, but they’re the ones that fill my cup the most. A big thank you to you especially, Buckin’, and all the top of the food chain tree guys that make the content you do. Without it I don’t think I’d have had, at the age of 43, the inspiration to go do what the computer said I should do when I was a lad of 16. Bucket list box ticked off. Thank you Buckin Billy Ray Peace
Excellent work...another happy customer...a thing of beauty hitting with the other tree...learning like crazy...love that I can watch backwards in time too
Hey Billy, now THAT was interresting... How you solved the problem using one tree to topple another.. 👍🏻MAN... I would never have tought of that. That's why I watch your channel Billy, I learn something in almost every clip you make. And thanx for being such a kind person. We need this 💪🏻🙏🏻
Very true that no one else can make you happy--it's all up to us. Even when we love someone and feel joy from it, interesting that those feeling of joy and happiness come from and are experienced from within ourselves...interesting indeed. We hold the keys and set the conditions for our own happiness. Enjoyed the video very much! Enjoyed the philosophy even more. Glad to hear you found yer phone, too! love, Andrewski✊
First-time viewer here. Josh at Upstate Brush Control said you’re the best. He’s right. That was awesome, and a lot of fun. You are “The Tree Whisperer.”
Great job buddy thank u so much for teaching the right way to cut wood. U are a heck of a guy to help people.Your experience doing what you do speaks highly and a lot people don’t get what you’re talking about but I do I understand how you really understand how to cut wood the right way love your channels awesome thank you for taking the time to help people I’m all the way down here in Georgia sure would love to come see you one day just to hang out.and say hello to your boy because u taught him the right way. And I am so proud to Watch your videos keep up the great work take care my friend.
Good show! Loved it. I thought I invented the "double slice wide-kerf" technique. I also thought it was a cheat and not real cool method, but I use it because it works for me and I pinch less bars using it. But heck, if it's good enough for Buckin Billy Ray, - it's sure good for me.... That's one of the reasons I love tree work, 2 guys on opposite sides of the country, one a pro and one a rank amateur can come to the same solutions. Mother nature builds the puzzles, we get to solve them, and no 2 are the same. Again, nice work, glad you found the phone. Happy Memorial day all!
Such an excellent informative video, tks for sharing your expertise with all of us,,,greetings from florida, i am now a regular viewer,, good filming Larry, i am surprised that you do not have a young apprentice working along side of you Buck,, you have so much to offer to the youngans that may want to actually work,,stay healthy Buck.
The experience and craftsmanship displayed here is fascinating… not many around like you Billy 👍🏻 this is the highest level. And let’s not forget how dangerous this work is. You have my utmost respect..Love watching your videos

Wow, this was a pleasure to watch. This was an artwork initself. I've learnt so much, glad I found your channel. I only cut a cord of fire wood a year, but always looking to get better. I'll have to dig through my grandads axes and see if one could have a new life. Cheers from Alberta.
