I like your little money song at the very beginning. LOL Financial literacy is so important! We used Dave Ramsey's course on finances for teens when our kids were older.
Ooh. We haven’t tried Dave Ramsey but have heard great things about it. Do you recommend it? Husband knows all about Dave Ramsey and protests me purchasing a program when he could guide the kids through Ramsay’s training. lol. Thanks so much for the compliment! I was thinking it’s probably really cheesy/corny. Haha. Hugs.
@@ThePocketFullofArrows I am also always looking for ways to teach our kids street smarts. Those are life skills that are going with them for the long haul. Thanks so much for being here and for commenting.
I havent had a chance to cover this topic yet, but I will be and when I do this looks like a valuable resource! I always love looking at the curriculum before purchasing
That is an excellent question. So sorry for the slow reply. We just got back from a trip. Before Personal Finance’s teaching on borrowing is neutral. You’ll like how the resource uses our National Debt to address how interest builds. It also warns about interest and debt. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. And I’d be happy to send pictures of any pages if you need.
Do you need just one copy for the family to share, or should each child have their own copy? I noticed you didn't have any writing in yours, so are you having the kids just answer orally with just one book for the family?
We have been going through the program as a family. Some lessons we wrote in the book. some lessons we wrote on a white erase board for everyone to see. But of course if you want each student to come of with his or her own numbers, then he or she may need personal copies. Hope that helps. Thanks so much for being here and asking.
