I had a birthday party for one of my children a few years ago at a trampoline park. It cost me $350 for a whole group and I had saved up for it and was very satisfied with the results. It was a nice time. I don't really do birthday parties for my kids, so this was maybe only one of two big parties I did. Looks like your kids had loads of fun too!!!
@@TheMennomilist $350 is pretty good for a birthday party. We don’t do birthday parties at places like that either but I have been tempted to try at urban air since our kids love jumping so much. Thanks for watching and sharing about your experience 😊

Thanks so much for being here! I was bummed that GR didn’t work for our family especially after purchasing the entire year’s units when it had first come out. I should have tried one to test out. We enjoyed the text for this government unit and it can be counted towards high school credit. That trivia book sparked our 8 year old’s interest in the presidents and wanted to read the trivia book on her own. Love when that happens.
I didn’t know at the beginning of our homeschool journey I could come to RU-vid!!! This unit sounds awesome!!! We love gather round but did the workbooks as we wanted!!! We go on a lot of rabbit trails as well!!! We went to our state capital to see where laws are made!!! It was awesome!!! We went to Singapore this year so we discussed the gum issue as it’s illegal there!!!
I was thinking about Singapore when I had mentioned the gum issue. lol. Cool that y’all got to actually visit. Were there signs for no gum and such. I’m so thankful for RU-vid. Writeshop Jr is an amazing writing program for 4/5th grade my daughter hates writing period she jus doesn’t hav the confidence n know matter how I encourage her she mentally refuses to believe but with writeshop jr I have seen a major improvement in her writing confidence

Aw what fun! There used to be a waterpark about 10 minutes from me and I went as a teenager. It closed down after about 40 years of being opened, all before my kids were born, sadly. It is a shopping area now with stores and such. I think this is awesome. I can see your kids had a great time, and that's the point!

Wow, 400 square feet for a family of 7? I'm impressed with how organized you are. I love furniture that doubles as storage. I love the dining room chairs that open up. I've never seen that before!
First year homeschooling ! Prek I ordered our curriculum and a daily calendar and a few games. Trying not to go crazy and buy stuff we will actually use.
Welcome to homeschooling!! I remember those first years-so overwhelming and confusing. That was when I didn’t even know I could turn to RU-vid for advice. We found that it’s actually best to keep it simple. We are wired to crave learning and there’s so much to learn just from what you already probably have on hand. There’s so much out there now and very tempting to want to try them. Thanks so much for being here and for sharing!
I grew up in a family of 5 with one bathroom and have a family of 5 with one bathroom. I think if I were a family of seven like you though, a second bathroom sounds like a good idea. hehe. That is cute your daughter has a youtube channel too. I have known of families with ottomans having homeschool resources. I had kept all of my homeschooling items in my closet (which is usually pretty empty as it is). You have a lot of nice space in your RV! I am really impressed. Wow. Do you use ALL of those books on the shelves or are you keeping things from your older kids for when your younger kids get to their ages? I never heard of a dry erase sticker! That sounds fun. I can't believe you even have a keyboard in your RV. This is amazing! Great job fitting your whole family in 400 sq. ft. I am impressed. People are amazed at my family in a 734 sq. ft. home and we just do what we can in the space we have. I am sure that is how you are handling things as you make your transition to your new home. I am sure it was difficult to go from the large home you did have though, right?
Surprisingly it wasn’t so bad going from a big house to an RV. I like the more minimal living because it cuts down on so much of the cleaning and day to day accumulation of clutter. No matter how large a home is, I feel that it’s so easy to accumulate and build on clutter. We actually don’t plan on moving into a house, at least anytime soon. There are pros and cons to both living conditions. We’ll see and continue to pray for guidance as to what God wants us to do. We don’t use ALL the books on the shelves at once. I tried to make sure to bring at least a year’s worth of homeschooling resources for the kids and including some of our favorites that we may return to if certain ones we try don’t work out. I would have to say that was one of the harder of the tasks in moving into our RV-figuring out what we need for at least a year. Love that y’all are managing with just 734 sq. ft. I think it teaches so much more gratitude and trains not to live on materialism. I’d love to see how you organize in your small space. Send me a link if you already have some videos up. I’m not sure if I overlooked them or not. And yes, we have a pretty nice space for a mobile home. We have been enjoying it so far. Two bathrooms would be helpful though.
I love how you have made space for homeschooling!!! I can write on windows with dry ease markers but I think if it’s not cleaned quickly it stains!!! In our old house we had a music room that was rarely used!!! We love digital resources for space saving and it’s easy to Travel wiv it!!! I use a digital planner!!!
@@RockSimmer-gal4Godwe tried writing on windows in the past too but it’s hard to see. I did end up buying the dry erase contact paper and I shared about it in the Amazon prime haul and it’s been a hit even though it was hard to stick on. The kids love it. Massive library with no ebooks , waiting list 6 months, if the books are bought. Library caters to unknown feminazis writters, BML, every single book against Trump,reading level basic. Our taxes spent on a PR building, and the quality of books laughable. No membership to HOOPLA, the book, cd,dvd service for libraries. No videos to stream. Is like when people buy an expensive house to impress and no furniture. The worst library in the USA.
We only grab homeschool resources if we need them or they are on sale and we will need them!!! I love the idea of whiteboard paper!!! We travel with small whiteboards!!! We love magnetic whiteboard markers!!! I bought mesh bags for storage and we love them!!! We love putting Flashcards in pouches!!! Our whiteboards go in pouches!!!

Hey. I think those mesh bags are great! I use them for games, puzzles and science items. I only bought 2 things from prime day this year. We needed a new fire stick so I ordered that, and 1 homeschooling book "Where on Earth". I wish they would put more books on sale during prime day.
@@PlannerHomeschoolingMom sounds like you had great self-control. It can be so tempting on those prime days to overbuy. I wish that Amazon would have more book sales on prime days too. We finished our HBL end of June but we are bringing 2 books into next year!!! 1 for science and 1 for this years history!!! We love TGTB science units and we have some of the older versions and we don’t care for worksheets either!!! We did masterbooks ecosystems!!! I can’t remember what it was called tho!!! We are getting to be outside more as we just got to Hawaii and my kids are loving being outside with my friends kids!!! We are doing EP government with my older kids as I feel it’s only appropriate for them!!! My older kids know I voted for the U.K. government by postal vote so we spoke a little then!!! We love the who is books!!! We have already found a home church as we went in January when We where there for my work!!! We vary on TGTB books!!! My kids have asked for us to go to a water park and there is one on our island so we are planning to!!!
So awesome y’all live in Hawaii now. We wanted to be there since it’s still American soil so I could keep up my dental credentials but it never happened.
