💖💖💖 LOVE this collection With the adhesive you have on the roller, would putting a bit of wet adhesive on those pages keep it better adhered? I don't have one of those so I will do that with the double sided tape and wet glue any way 😀 Oh, and do you have a video on how to colour white Tyvek? That is the only colour I can get here in Australia that I am aware of, unless someone else in Aus can point me in the direction of an Aussie supplier that has black?
Thank you! The double adhesive is more important for the actual structural parts of the journal. Double sided tape is probably enough to use for adding the patterned paper, as it's just laying flat and not under any stress from being moved around as the flips and flaps are. I hope that makes sense. As for coloring white tyvek...... Hmmmm. I've never done it, so I'm not sure. My first thought was a thin layer of black acrylic paint, then a spray sealant so it doesn't crack. I think some experimentation might be needed!
Reason I asked about the liquid glue on the patterned or plain paper was that my late sister sent me a couple of scrapbook pages she had done years ago and the elements fell off the page because all she used was double sided tape, so I was thinking that would be a good idea with all pages since I am presuming what is going to be put on there written or otherwise would be 'precious' and desired to be there a long time. I may try that suggestion out myself after this busy for me week ahead. Thanks 😀
I have colored Tyvek with Sharpie before which is labor intensive and doesn't cover smoothly. I have also used a very thin, almost watery, acrylic and it covered great.
