I hav both Himalayan & Interceptor. In short Interceptor is smooth, powerful. Himalayan best both for OFFROAD & onroad. Balance is too good with purpose built body. With the same speed u feel much confident with Himalayan even u hit a bad patch of road. After same length of ride Himalayan gives half the strain as interceptor because as u know most of our roads are of OFFROAD standard. Himalayan fuel efficiency is better I use Himalayan right & left most of the times. I do up & down 150 kms most times I take Himalayan. Interceptor is only for fun.
Interceptor is not meant for touring practically. I own Himalayan and I can ride it throughout the day. Whether be it bad road or good road it just glides. Interceptor has got different character and literally shines in it's segment. One really need to know what u want from ur bike. Agar paese hote to main dono hi bikes own karta😊. I luv interceptor's torque.
@@karanchopra1763 yes, only if u switch from a higher bhp. What we get from this bike in this price range is just phenomenal. I drove almost 600 km in a day. Not even once I felt it's underpowered. Yes definitely it's not meant for higher speeds but in Indian traffic I think 100km/hr is far enough. In India we don't have that disciplined drives around us that we can drive above 130 for hours. And as far as torque is concerned you get the torque even in 4th n 5th gears so overtaking is not a big deal.
To be honest I know that the Interceptor is not meant for touring, long distance. Not saying you can't, but its going to hurt your ass and back after a while. This is why I got the Himalayan, for long distance tours (cheaper parts and better tyre options). I have done 7000kms in 24 days on the Himalayan Mumbai-Ladakh-Mumbai. Max 800kms in a day (30-38kmpl). I would not be able to do that on the Interceptor (25-28kmpl). I call the Himalayan my couch on wheels! For short fun rides (
I have booked my Interceptor mark 2 , eagerly waiting to have this beauty. Give me Some advices for maintainance and managing the condition of the bike Sunny bhai
Great brother..good choice..Brother time to time service and sensible riding is the key to keep the bike in good condition..get it washed atleast once in 10 days, only micro fibre cloth should be used, dont use direct cloth on tank to prevent scratches..use some flashes of water or spray water..one in a week get the tyre pressure checked and I think that will be fine..last thing always wear good riding gears..😁😁😁 and last dont forget to subscribe🤭🤭
Mark 2 ❤️❤️ is my choice rest it totally depends on personal choices as well..chrome is not that difficult to maintain as people think.. 😁 Dont forget to sub bro ☺️✌️
Interceptor is better in comfort! And looks in Baker express colour! GT 650 gives bad riding quality other than looks! Himalayan gives you a vibration Everythin you want is in Interceptor 🔥 Riding quality, Baker express looks and that non vibrational feel! Thanks to 270 degree crankshat!
Yes powertronics and stuff is there in the market to get some extra BHPs, no they do not affect the engine..keep watching and dont forget to subscribe.
