Nahi bro.. I wish we could.. I and several others would have gone for it.. the reasons are the hub arrangements, disc mounts and width of the rear meteor alloy.
When is RE giving you the job of their R&D Head, Jugaad Department! This is fantastic stuff! Yes jokingly I called it jugaad, but this Jugaad has method to madness and is scientific. The explanation was detailed, elaborate and simplified for even a novice to understand... Oh but you didn't reveal what disc you eventually used! Or did I miss it?
Hahahahahha I think RE hates me or something.... I did not reveal the disc because my mechanic didn't want it to be revealed... he said it affects the business...
Thanks for sharing your experience and valuable information. As a Interceptor 650 owner even I am facing same problem. Just curious can this alloys handle wait and torque of Interceptor. I do go long ride and there some part where roads are in very bad conditions. Please share your long term experience with this alloys.
All cool bro... the dominar alloy is sturdy enough... m making other vids. The experience video will take time.. however rest assured the setup is reliable.. 2 of my group members have already opted for it... bike is more stable on corners...
As a matter of fact you can use almost any mag wheel. All wheels come with their own fitments issues. Like axle diameter, disc placement and size.. rs 350 comes with 19 front and 17 rear. Which will make int 650 run like a cruiser then a cafe racer. And in meteor wheels will be plug n play in the similar size configuration... so point is to reduce the number of custom parts because if something breaks then everything will be manually made again...
Nope I haven't... but ridden them both and both the models are restricted to only give a certain amount of power... leaving you craving for more in a very short time... worse things is that after market parts don't help much either because the bikes are restricted at the cam shaft....
Glad to hear that.. I don't sell anything if you looking at that.. this video is the whole procedure to install. Get a nice mechanic or a builder to perform this
What about the tubeless setup ? Is not working properly? That tubeless set up was quite cheap and I am planning to do the same for my interceptor 650. . By cutting a new tube of smaller size and place it on the rims ..kindly share your experience...
Hey gopal, the tube setup worked beautifully.. I needed to upsize the tire to 150 and the options in 18 inches are not much and very expensive... with 17 inches the handling and stability also has gone up significantly...
@@acoupleofrides so once you installed 150 section on 3.5 inch rim, didn't it give you different handling charecterisctics like the bike wanting to lean too easily? I face this on timsun 150 on stock 18 inch rim which is 3.75", so yours should be more prominent
Yes it did.. bike was more eager in the corners with the stock rims, I had 140/18 sport demon in rear and 100 /18 in front. In your case it would be even more prominent since you've gone to 150 rear. but with 17 inches alloys are better in that respect.. as they are wider and are made to accommodate a wider track tire.. hence I am able to run 110 front and 150 rear... bike is eager but more stable too on higher speeds..
Hey Vicky, you will have to do it in a staggered manner... starting with the front wheel which in this case is a dominar 400' front. I shall share the whole thing with in this week.. rear wheel is even easier... 😀 for installation I have given numbers at the very end of the video, of the mechanic who made it..
I would love to but there is nothing like that available... This is done by a mechanic... you connect with him.. he might be able to give you plug and play thing for the front since he has done 3 bikes post mine.. additionally you can check out part 2.. to solve 50% of your issue..
Bhai bikul start kardiya hai hindi mai, kuch poochna ho to yahan batado, answer kardoonga idhar.. hindi ke liye .. kaafi logo ke request aaye hai.. I am on it.. 🙂
Haan ho jata hai.. but jo jo kaam front wheel mai kiya hai humne.. woh Sara kaam back wheel mai hoga or sprocket ka bhi kaam hoga.. aur itna custom kaam karne ke baad parts milne mai problem ho sakti hai... isiliye rear ke liye meteor ka wheel Lagana better hai. Agar bike lambe samay tak rakhni hai..
