INTERNATIONAL Farmall 656 Tractor Harvesting Corn  

Man this brings back good memories. Used to help the neighbor. He had almost the same equipment except he picked his corn by ear not shell. I used his Farmall 400 to haul wagons back and forth to the cribs. Good ole days and fond memories.

I can't be there but looking forward to your videos from it. Almost like being there.

I worked for a farmer that had a 656. He had a tree sprayer that he would spray windbreaks.

Shelled many acres of corn with a 324 picker sheller, the weather wasn’t that nice in South Dakota though! Luckily we had a 186 hydro to put on it, the 186 was also great with our 914 combine. Needed a rotary screen in front of the 186 radiator to keep it from over heating during wheat harvest.

How many here remember going to a corn shucking after a harvest. My uncle used to have them. Always planted some Indian corn and whoever found the most got prize. Most of the time just a couple bucks, but to a kid, back then would buy a lot of candie bars and sodas at the local store.
