I'm 56 years old and grew up on a 100. I still have it to this day and it's still a working tractor. I also have a Kubota MX5400. When my kids go out for a tractor ride they always pick the 100 to drive.
the old tractors are much classier than anything built out there today. ill never sell the Super C that we've had since I was 5 in 1977. it doesn't go out too much anymore, but I keep it in good shape. Thank You for watching
A good friend of mine bought a new 100 in 1955 and he said it was the best steering tractor he ever had. Another friend of mine who had never had Farmalls bought one once and asked me to come check it out as it didn't work like a red belly Ford. I told him to forget what he knew about tractors as the 100 was a totally different tractor. I went and drove it around and like my previous friend's, it steered like a dream. I have always liked the look of the 100 and 200. Several years ago, there was a member of the local IH Collector's Club (Chapter 42 I think) that had a hi clearance 130 that used to bring it to the Southeast Old Thresher's Reunion in Denton, N.C. It was a sharp looking tractor. Here in my neck of the woods, these offset Farmalls were the tobacco farmer's dream come true.
I know where there’s a 100 I think I can get in the Spring. I love hearing your stories and I appreciate your taking the time to tell me. There’s a lot of those offsets still in the Connecticut River Valley where they still grow cigar tobacco
Wow my friend you are a wealth of knowledge and insight into the farmall line of superA’s 100’s 130, 140’s I have three super A’s and one 100 that is in need of major repair. The A’ all run and work I thank you for for your channel! Appreciate my friend
Lots of really great information ! You sure know your tractors thats for sure . I'm trying to learn as much as I can about my M . I got more to learn since it has so many after market parts . I didn't realize how much maintenance there was on one . Are there any oil or gas additives you like to add to your tractors ? Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend !
I put marine stabil in the blue bottle in mine people swear by sea foam, but I can’t say I’ve ever noticed a difference. The M was a heck of a tractor back in the day…The biggest out there. Thank you for watching
I'm trying to learn about my tractor. It is a farmall 100. Works good and very pretty, but it leaks oil like crazy and I need to figure out how to fix it. Know where I can find manuals? Thanks!
Hi mate I’m in Australia and I have a hi -crop IH Farmall . Trying to find out the model and year of it . On the serial plate it reads . V 320468 1540 . Any info would be much appreciated. It has underbody rippers and rear rippers as well.
