Many people think a race is constant running, and that walking is a sign of weakness or failure. In this video, I'm going to explain why using intervals during endurance races can may be a beneficial strategy, and go over the intervals I use to stay competitive.
Intervals are not only beneficial for being competitive during ultramarathons, but also helping you achieve your goal of hitting a distance PR. It doesn't matter if it's a 5k, 10k, half, or full marathon, training intervals and incorporating them into your race could have you crossing the finish line and save you from the dreaded "bonk" or DNF.
