What holds us back is the responses of others, whom we asked in one way or another, for their opinion. If They are unable to see our unique vision, they cannot respond with validation, and because we sought their opinion, we doubt ourselves when they dissuade us for being nieve. I've helped horses all over the US, and changed the mindset of the owners. My methods were trivialized, too different, but, when I left the show ring, owners were lined up asking me to ride their horses. I brought horses to life, with my energy and absolute belief in them, right there, in that moment. I opened their eyes to how powerful they were, and they responded by blooming right there, in full view of the owners and trainers. The poor horses, owned by those who wanted the majesty, but were unable to recognize that connection was necessary. Beast to beast, the most aware and knowledgeable runs the Herd, of prey animals who always need to feel safe. I love your free riding. In the places I live, this isn't possible, but, knowing it can be re-produced, I can help many owners gain their confidence.
I love what he is saying about technique. It's a shallow box, inside which people tend to stay, not realizing that steps of techniques give them an illusive sense of self superiority, authority, and validation. In my case, horses showed me from the very beginning that my "way" cannot be inside of the technique, schedule or routine way. Instead straight jumping into spontanous dynamics of unpredictable. And I am so grateful for that ❤
I needed this...I just got done with a difficult groundwork session where i just said " why am I even doing this" so I got on the horse and justcwent for a ride and she did everything I asked and we had a great ride...poor training session but great hack....whats more important 😊
