I love your business idea to create a peaceful place in nature for horses and people to get together. Looking to do the same one day. There are so many people that enjoy horses at peace but dont have access. Also sounds like a sweet job for a horse😊 Best of luck with this endeavor!
Wow, wonderful story, I listened to it twice. I identify with everything you told us. I understand how the journey led you to the final solution of what you are doing with people and horses now . Amazing! Obstacles on the way and inner feelings, when we listen to them, will lead us to where we are best. I'm happy that someone else sees the world of horses the way I do. For me, the most beautiful feeling is just being with the horses, being part of the herd and watching them. So exactly what you mention at the end of the video. There is no need for any training, special dressage and tricks with horses. I stubbornly did things my way, even though my equine community finds it ridiculous when I go for a long walk with my horse to the nature. My questions for you. 1) How many your own horses do you have? 2) Do you still ride without a saddle and without a bridle out into nature? 3) How many horses do you and your girlfriend have together in the herd now? 4) How will the summer camp with the horses at your place turn out, what will the program be and for how many days for one tour? I'm rooting for you so much, you're a wonderful person, I wish you all the best. And I'm really looking forward to more videos with you. ❤
Great talk Mathias! You are doing so well. Not sure if you remember staying with us in Valdora QLD Australia but we have moved as well. I have a small herd of 3 now on about 38 acres and still not one I can ride. It brings me always in a situation were all I can do is communicate with the horses. I love watching them run free and do there own thing. Sometimes it is hard not to intervene. I have a 6 and a 3 year old mare that at the moment are not getting along and that is causing some bodily damages. I just hope they one day will just work it out and settle down. It's a very hot summer here and that is not helping. Looking forward to seeing your next live and life as well
Hi Nadine, of course I remember you 😊 thank you for your message and compliment ;) you moved far away or still in the same region? The heat will not help indeed.
I just found your videos, i dont believe what im seeing. I will follow the journey! I have an Arabian mix that is very sweet but can suddenly go nuts, she is almost three, it must be her age, and more connection making.
Just found you today. Food for my soul. I have a question: How do you look after your horses' backs with riding bareback? I love bareback but I have a boney bum and use a deerskin but not sure my horse really likes it?
With every breed it is different. Some have a very strong and comfortable back and it causes no problem and for some horses it is indeed not so comfortable. Best to train the back muscles of your horse so he is able to carry you on a good way and build up the time you are riding bareback. Start with 5 min and slowly build it up to longer period of time.
