Jens is such a strange and funny dude. You can tell he's got a sense of humor, but he's always so straight. My buddies and I met him outside the bus back in 2012 and asked for a pic. He posed with the classic metal horns and as we posed, we asked "can you do the Jens face?" He replied with a stern "No."
I also enjoy that interviewer... I've seen his interviews with Mike Patton, Devin Townsend, Machine Head and a few others... He has a very innocently ignorant way of asking questions, which can seem silly at first, but it actually gets the artist to talk about things that they normally wouldn't talk about. It seems that he knows more than he leads on, and yeah, he's always interested in the artist he's interviewing. A better version of Larry King...
Excelent interview . That reporter often gets a lot of slack in the coments section but i think he is really great . Mostly cause he sems genuinly interested in the subjects and asks alot of followup questions.
Love his comment on their place in history - they want to develop the sound all the time and have the guts to do something different. Old school jazz mentality in metal. These guys are really onto something unique!
The end is like: Interviewer: Thank you for your time! Jens: (Can i fucking go now?!) already at removing the clip-on mic Interviewer: It was more than i hoped for! Jens: (almost at going away) Yep. Awesome!
Why split these up into SEVEN FUCKIN PARTS?! If it's all from one interview, just make the video ONE interview and then time stamp the 7 different parts or sections or why ever the hell you split them up in the description.
