This man is class. I am a founding ATL season ticket holder, so I have seen his end product over the years. Half of me is gutted that he left Atlanta, the other half is thrilled he is coming to my first love, Newcastle. Shook his hand a few years ago before a match, back when Newcastle was terrible. Told him we needed him in Newcastle to sort things out. Clearly it just took a few years.

It’s crazy to think how far we’ve come in such a sort period of time, less than 12 months ago this was all a dream! Howay the Lads man!! ⚫️⚪️🔝

As an ATLUTD fan, he and Miguel Almiron are the reason I started supporting NUFC and watching Premier League! Welcome!

I feel like we no longer have to worry about the club, for me thats all i've wanted. We have serious, talented and passionate people running things and its so exciting and refreshing.

This gentleman is sheer class. A thinker, strategist and someone to steer the commercial development of the club. In my view the PIF have exceeded all my expectations. To date they have been exemplar in their professionalism, clearly demonstrated by their appointments. A class act.

As an American Darren is a great hire. Very underrated his ability to reach to supporters and grow commercial revenues will be huge in the next few years. Buckle up toon fans its gonna be epic

What a brilliant interview, I've been really looking forward to hearing Darren speak. Not heard a lot about him initially, but judging from this he seems like a brilliant upbeat character which is exactly the kind of mood and energy we need around this club during this process.

it's amazing that Newcastle appointed a man that's not a nepotism, a real pro that was actually a great man with amazing CV for the job, the way Newcastle signed players, managers, and now directors, they not joking around or clueless like PSG and City did, they take this very seriously.
