Dani Filth truly is an amazing man, and he is one of my role models because of his brilliant lyricism. That's why I listen to Cradle of Filth all my life..
I realize I'm no one to say. But I respect the hard work these guys do to put on a great show maintaining there people presence. Approachable. Great bunch of folks.
LiveLikeYouFly really consistent, it takes massive work ethic to keep putting stuff out and touring into their 40s. Their new stuff is so good too, very good lineup right now
Man, I got Cruelty and the Beast just as it came out in '98 and been hooked on Cradle ever since. Love the last two albums especially!! Saw them again live in Haarlem, Netherlands a while ago. They were fucking awesome as ever!

I am totally with you. Though I just joined the CoF - fanbase since "Cruelty...", I just felt connected and always had some songs of them in my heavy-rotation. Never agreed on arguements of "sellout" or "mainstream", Cradle were always a part of my life. And are. And will be.
I know I'm pretty alone on this, but it would be interesting if they as a bonus re-recorded Cruelty and the Beast with the new line up. It's a classic and I like it, but it would just be interesting to hear how it would sound today :)
He's not very evil! More a really nice guy who made loads of money from writing music and lyrics that were well considered antidotes to biblical verses that were pretty easy to criticise in the 20th and 21st century. High 5!
Been a fan of Cradle of Filth since 10 Yrs now. Man it’s funny how time flies. They don’t stop to amaze me with every new album. I hope they never go boring. The re-realeases of older albums is not necessary imo. It’s just an extra cashgrab. But hey if it works for Cradle, why not? I hope 2019 gonna be a good year for them. New album in the works now. Exciting shit!

Couldn't agree more! It's the opposite of the aggressive lyrics and brutal music. Very funny! Still like it though, I'd rather a fake band who weren't burning down churches and such than a real one that was!
the dude is Chill dont know why people shit on him. i love black metal but once again no clue why they hate him. i heard once people started killing each other in the black metal scene he no longer wanted to be black metal and then he considered his band goth. if that is true well he should have stayed black metal.

As matter of fact, Cradle is giving them a chance to stay away from a conflict that they have to face everyday. If have been in an internal armed conflict. You will realize how fans on that country will commemorate this events for years to come.
They never claimed to be black metal even when they first started. This band is nothing short from being a true pioneer for extreme metal. Please dont discredit a band when your statement isnt a fair assessment.
