Hello, my bone building friends! Recently I had the opportunity to interview Dr. Keith McCormick on Facebook live. He is a chiropractic doctor who dedicates his career to helping people with osteoporosis. Dr. McCormick participated in the 1976 Summer Olympic Games as a pentathlete. As a professional athlete who also ate a healthy diet, so he thought that he was doing everything right to be healthy and strong. Then when he was forty-five years old he was diagnosed with severe osteoporosis. Over the next five years he experienced 12 osteoporotic fractures. Dr. McCormick knows first hand the pain, frustration, and challenges that come with living with osteoporosis.
After his devastating personal experience with osteoporotic fractures he chose to devote his life to understanding and helping to prevent others from going through what he did. He earned a Biology degree from Stanford University and a doctorate from the National College of Chiropractic. He is an expert on all things related to the spine and he has been practicing chiropractic medicine since 1982. He is the author of two books “The Whole-Body Approach to Osteoporosis,” and “Great Bones- Taking Control of Your Osteoporosis.”
It is my great privilege to share this interview with you. The recording picks up right after I introduced him on Facebook. Please let me know if you would like to see more content like this!
