It’s very heart warming. To see Kevin Von Erich. In such great spirits. After all he has been through in life. With his brothers and family. I have so much respect and admiration for this man. It’s inspiring for me, and should be for everyone. Rest in peace to his mom, dad, and all of his brothers. God Bless The Von Erich Family. 🙏🏻 You know I read of quote from Kevin awhile back. He said "I had five brothers, and now I'm not even a brother." Being someone that happens to be a brother. A little brother to my older brother Chris. Man that is deep and touches the soul. 🙏🏻
Thank you for this great interview. I am a huge Von Erich fan and glad to see Kevin getting the recognition from our brothers across the big Pond. I am now a subscriber to your channel and I hope you will have Kevin and his sons on your show in the near future. Thanks again.
Thank you for the kind words, we really appreciate it! It was an honour to have Kevin on the show & hopefully we can get together again in the future! 💜
I respect Kevin more and more that he is still around? To me? The time that has passed from when Kerry died until now? Kevin to me, now. Is the greatest, best Von Erich. When I was a kid? I was harsh on Kevin being skinny and barefoot. I thought he looked lesser than Kerry. But now? I respect his wrestling barefoot. I saw him walking on his ranch in Hawaii barefoot in the sticks and jungle like nothing. His feet are stronger than Hobbits feet. People that wear shoes or boots would destroy their feet trying to walk barefoot in the jungle. And I didn't realize as a kid how strong Kevin Von Erich actually was.
Getting 2 tattoos soon in honor of Kevin! There's a lot to unpack with Kevin's stories and his perspective on life now. As I imagine, there's a lot of new and older viewers when it comes to wrestling and the Von Erichs (in result of the movie). As a person who didn't grow up watching wrestling at all, I took the time to go into a rabbithole of understanding and watching everything that the craft has to offer. I couldn't be more intrigued and I wish I had gotten into wrestling a long time ago. I was so inspired by his story and his interviews (that I binge watched in the last 3 months) that it helped me get through so much these last few months. I'm deciding to get the "It takes guts to live, not guts to die" quote + the Iron Claw tattooed on me, as a reminder to never give up despite the challenges that life can throw at you. This was an awesome interview and I hope this message can be passed down to Kevin somehow as I will continue to share and soon wear his message/stories!
We love Kevin and the family. You all did so much for us kids you all were super heros. Your dad did what he had to do to make you all tough in the wrestling business.
the Iron claw was amazing but omitting chris was a slap in the face to the von erich legacy in my opinion. RIP david ; Mike ; Kerry and chris von erich 🙏
I heard Ross and Marshall saying Kevin was going into a retirement home in Texas now that speech from them has, disappeared on line. I love them for being honest.
Damn, almost like the movie taught you nothing. Enforcing such harsh standards on people, especially men, making them feel like they have to measure up to an impossible standard of masculinity and strength, leads to nothing but suffering. Consider developing media literacy.
THE MOVIE WAS HORRIBLE BAD ACTING AND BAD CASTING. LOVE ROSS VON ERICH "ATKINSON" GREAT GUY AND HES MOVING IN A DIFFERENT DIRECTION ABD I LOVE HIM FOR THAT. DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY NOT WHAT YOUR DAD WANTS.
Because he's in the WWE Hall of Fame? The Von Erichs were inducted in 2009... There are a number of wrestlers / people who contributed to wrestling that are recognised in the WWE HOF who never worked specifically for the company
Enough of these guys. Sorry but you guys are pushing these old guys so hard. It does nothing for my nostalgia and I am 46 lol But I guess you Have to help their family make some cash forty years later hey.
I am 46 and it does a lot for my nostalgia. Been watching for 40 years and I live hearing these stories. Most younger current talent aren't free to discuss the things these guys are.
