Such a fun and awesome interview! I wish they had a Philly date, but I'm venturing up to Brooklyn to see them. This album and tour are special to me because Revocation is the band that got me into modern underground metal. They helped define my college years when The Outer Ones came out in late 2018, and in the years since, I kept listening to their older albums. They're now my favorite metal band and I'm super excited to see them.

LFG. Dave Davidson is cool Af, excited for this new Revocation. As far as politics in music it’s always was and will always be a thing, if it offends people then they should deal with it. Megadeth is one of my favorite bands of all time and they have always been political . Holy Wars is one of my favorite songs of all time. But anyways I’m so excited for this new revocation album.

It is kinda cliche but it seems all the more apparent for music listeners. People really don't pay attention to lyrics or look into interpreting them. Probably because it's more work and are only in it for the vibes.

@@alex_flamer I don't care about lyrics in death metal. Who has time to read 1000x satans in death metal. You know what your getting. Same with post grunge. Now the 90s grunge bands and 60s music I think lyrics held a much more prominent role. But alot of bands is about a vibe or atmophere over lyrics. It's all Ben done from drugs to depression to satan . So nobody cares these days. Same thing new package.

I would say that probably yeah a decent Majority amount don’t care (Me included) but I’ve also known quite a lot of people that have refused to listen to bands due to “Woke, Political, Edgy, Satanic” lyrics to though, there are quite a bit of people out there that do care about the lyrics.

I miiiiiiight be there for Revocation on Friday, we'll see. Depends on how long the livestream goes for. BUT Anna and I will DEFINITELY see you next week for Zeal & Ardor and Imperial Triumphant, should be a hell of a night. (can't bring Chompy though, safety issue. He IS an alligator after all)
