Interview with Sam Kiszka, bassist, of Greta Van Fleet, on Day 3 of Welcome To Rockville. We spoke about their most recent EP, current tour, and new things on the horizon for the band.
This was the day I discovered Greta Van Fleet. Went for my birthday to see Billy Idol and ended up finding a great new band as well as a new writing muse! SAM!
I didn't realize Sam was tall, unless the other guy is just short. Sam Is a really good bass player, but what I find funny about GVF is they dress cool on stage, but dress normal off stage, in the 70's the musicians still looked like rock stars when they were off the stage, because it was who they were, looking forward to the new album, or the 1st album that is actually the second album. because two ep's are like a first album.
it’s called a stage character, or proper attire for the stage. just like a job or school or big event, you dress proper for the occasion, they probably just don’t want to wear leather pants and silk shirts and headbands off stage all the time
photographerjonathan Actually, they usually dress pretty similar to how they are on stage, just to a lesser extent. This is a fairly tame outfit for a Kiszka, believe it or not!
My kowalski analysis shows that out of everyone in the band, I definitely can see that his gorgeous, sweetheart personality is the one that girls like me will most likely be attracted to for long periods of time irl, making him statistically the best candidate for a relationship
