Thank you to my 2 favourite “TNS” teachers. Totally me: Over doing. Over trying. Over thinking. Over feeling. Over achieving. Over conscientious. I think I need a video series on how to put myself first 😊 I cried so much when you said it should be called Too Nice Syndrome. For decades i thought I was a horrible person because as a child my parents blamed me for everything. As an adult when I talked to them about it my father gaslighted me and my mother told me I didn’t know what a horrible child I was. The pain and dizziness I experience now is devastating but it is a drop in the ocean compared to the emotional trauma I carry. I’ve been doing mind body work for several years. I hope one day to heal and to experience a day without pain and fatigue and to never be dizzy again. Edited to add: I have noticed a theme of feeling like I am missing out. It relates to my health as I’m restricted from doing things I love because my health limits things. Often I go anyway but perhaps leave early or only do some parts of the activity. The “missing out” theme also relates to traumas and emotions as a child and in adulthood. Releasing/changing this is a focus.

Thanks for your story and kind words. You can overcome this. Don’t listen to the symptoms. They’re like a bully. Dizziness is fear. The answer to fear is to face it. Fully. See if you can stay the whole time don’t let it stop you in anyway. Don’t miss out any longer! Keep going the symptoms are just reactions from your brain and nervous system. they’re nothing. There nothing to be afraid of or to listen to. Take care!

OH. MY. GOSH. These are a huge chunk of my symptoms. I’ve known that this is all TMS but WOW what a huge difference it is to hear a specialist validate it. Thank you so much for this conversation. I feel like she was talking about me specifically!

This is what happened to me with Dr's. My biggest mistake was when I started searching for answers.. My symptoms morphed really bad and it took me down a dark rabbit hole... I wish I had found you guys before I had takin that path..

Yes you can recover. Just have to move forward from all these principles and unwind, some of your old beliefs and patterns that had developed from what you said.

Thank you for these interviews with Dr Yo. Just a question, if structural injury has been ruled out can TMS cause cramping? Asking for my son who's had cramping in lower back, glute area for months. He does suffer from anxiety but the very real cramps is confusing. Thanks in advance for any thoughts you may have.

When you notice your body strumming do you stop it or will that make pain symptoms etc worse

Stimming
@thepainpt
@thepainpt Год назад
Not exactly sure what you mean but I think what you’re saying is do I try to stop what’s happening and the answer is no let it pass through you from a relaxed space in yourself

@@thepainpt ok I've always stopped my leg bouncing for whatever reason I've had stimming before pain so it isn't just anxiety if the pain maybe it's subconscious anxiety ok Ile let it carry on

Don't stereotype these people. Don't conclude that they all fit into a box. That's wrong.
