Just my thought on the episode 8 of interview with the vampire. LITERALLY me being me! Nothing is to be taken too seriously (life it's too short for that anyways)
So true, this show is as close to perfect as a television series can get. The casting, the acting, the characterization, the chemistry between the cast, the plot/storyline, the dialogue, the scenery, the direction, the cinematography, the music. Everything is so freaking good and the had BETTER be nominated at next year's Emmys. This show needs to go viral
@@tomixshile9502, I never seem to get suck of the show and i share it with others who see it for the first time. The last episode is worth an emmy. sam Reid to get best actor and Jacob to get supporting actor.
I was very invested in Louis' friendship with Daniel, I feel that Louis can be himself with Daniel and vice versa... I hope the next season continues to show interactions between the two of them ❤
@@nevermindmyname813 Exactly!! And Daniel is the only person who was really a friend to Louis during the series, Louis had his love interests and a daughter, but only Daniel was a friend, so much so that in the first interview Louis vented with so much emotion that it seemed like he hadn't had a conversation with a friend in decades, which is most likely what happened, it broke my heart
Read the books! I read them in the 90s when I was a teenager. I have really great memories of me, my mom, and two of my sisters reading each one and having these discussions. I liked them and plan to reread as well, 30 years later. I appreciate so much how they've modernized the books. I think this series is top tier and I'm so glad they went in this direction. I will never be able to read the books or think of the characters without seeing this cast in my head. It's amazing. Great analysis!!
The best part is watching Daniel Molloy toy with Armand by criticizing Rashad. Molloy challenges Armand because he is not afraid of death; he has terminal cancer.
It is because of the books that made the show and there are a lot of different details that were missed from the book and changed. I love all the chronicles of the vampires and at first I didn’t love the movie because of all the changes they made but at the end it was amazing.
Hi loved the video, I believe Almond dose what he does because even before he was turned he was a slave he never learned how to be a person and then he became a vampire and now he is the worst thing a vampire can be boring and thrally in human
so many bad words for beautiful armand, when armand saved louis' life TWICE--giving him his own life sustaining blood. where was lestat when louis tried to burn himself alive in the sun? where was lestat when louis was burned in the crypt? armand has been louis' savior. savior i tell you.
@@IsisBlu he's a tragic figure: sold into slavery and assaulted for sex for years. i'm sure that does terrible things to a psyche. then again, no one is perfect--not even louis to let his family tell it.
You've got to remember that the show is based off of the entire Vampire chronicles - 13 books. So although it's true to the essence of all the books, it won't be true to each individual book because so many of the stories overlap in time and fill in missing gaps. Focus on the first 3 books - "Interview with the Vampire, The Vampire Lestat & The Queen of the Damned", then the book "The Vampire Armand". Side note: I know most people are talking about how they wanted to see Louis beat down Armand (because that b^tch deserved it)- but Louis with his memories intact would've learned not to fight and older, more powerful vampire - especially one that can be out in the sun. Also, Armand was a sub who like to top from the bottom, all Louis needed to do was establish his dominance to win, not fight. Also something to think about - Armand said he preserved Louis happiness. Daniel made Louis happy. Maybe his turning Daniel wasn't fully out of spite. Perhaps it was as apology gift to Louis. Perhaps it's because Armand finally found someone who could best him & hold his own against him. And by being his maker - he would always have someone he couldn't read and would therefore be a match for his own mind. Or perhaps Daniel wanted the gift. We'll see in season three perhaps.
Thank you for your advice on the books ❤️! You're absolutely right-Daniel might actually be a gift or even an apology. Daniel and Louis have always had a special relationship, and Daniel is the perfect person for Armand. I completely agree with you, and I hope we get to see more of them in season 3!
