Interview With The Vampire - S2 E8: And That's the End of It. There's Nothing Else 

In the book, The Vampire Lestat has chapters about Akasha's origin and how he drank from her. Read The Vampire Lestat. A lot of brilliant chapters of him and also Marius as well.

I think the contest in which Lestat saved Louis is why Louis never thought Lestat is who saved him. Lestat just killed their daughter and came to the trial to seemingly seek justice. So in that contest, it also makes sense why louis didn’t connect the dots. Also Armand is playing victim and innocent so it all came together to paint a very different picture to the man who is facing death and being openly betrayed by Lesta. I also think the obvious tension in Armand and louis’s relationship is Louis’s subconscious telling him the truth he didn’t want to see

The guy needs the show to do its work in regards to Daniel being turned that will be explained later, they have already laid the foundation to that in episode 8. Also, there’s more to Claudia’s death than what we’ve seen, we will see more of that in season 3 from Lestat’s pov, again, he’s forgetting that Louis memories were being messed up by Armand so some of the things we saw at the trial went unexplained like Lestat swaying back and forth and looking like he was in a trance moments before Claudia was killed. Last but not least, he’s gonna have to get used to Lestat and Louis being together or else he aint gonna enjoy the show in the future.

Okay! So... Here is the vampire lore.... Akasha is the first vampire from 6000 yrs ago. Just like any other ancestor, when she made her first fledgling, that one went and made another.... Then that one made one... And so on. So her blood is diluted. Lestat, met Marius.. Armand's maker. Marius protects Akasha and her husband (Those who must be kept).. lestat mentions them in season 1, during the 7th episode when they were putting up the Christmas tree. During the time that Lestat was with Marius, Akasha allowed him to drink from her.... So... Even though all vampires are connected to her, the blood is diluted. So they dont all have the same powers. Powers are different for everyone. Armand has an ancient's (Marius) blood... So he can fly.... Lestat has an ancient's blood (Magnus AND Akasha) .. so he can fly. We dont know who Santiago's maker is, but whoever he is had to be an ancient..... That is why no one else can fly, because their blood isnt powerful. "The Dark Gift is different for each of us." it is not out of character for Armand to not harm Daniel and run after Louis, season 3 will probably explore that but book readers know why.

The music that's playing while Lestat's practicing his "piano" is her recording of a piano concerto. That's why he said he would need 50 more years of practice before he could go on tour and "take over" for her.

They were going to kill daniel after the dinner .the talamasca in episode 3 already warned Daniel that they killed over 200 interviewer at the end.

The Lestat thing: He went into a depression after the Claudia situation. He is still rich, he just hasnt lived above his means because of grief. The names he gives are alias' that he gives. Sebastian is one of the names he went by and he is a real person from many many years ago that was gay. I forget what he did for a living... I think he was either an artist or play write.... Maybe composer. Armand's only fledgling is Daniel (cannonically)...

Louis and Lestat didn't get together at the end of the episode. their Love Actually transcended a romantic love and now they're just family. they were just two parents grieving the loss of their dead child
