Interview with the Vampire Season 2: I Could Not Prevent It 

Not only could Armand have saved Claudia and Madeline at the trial, he could have simply taken them and left the country before they were kidnapped. The thing people are in denial about is that Armand orchestrated this entire trial! Why? Not only to get Louis to himself, but revenge against Lestat for rejecting him.

I appreciate that in this show there are no purely evil or purely good characters. There's a whole lot of layers, nuance, grayness, and I love it.

Show!Armand stans in denial are hilarious. It's almost like discrepancy between showing how powerful Armand is and his behavior during the trial is.... the point showrunners were going for? Making us question the validity of his rehearsed version?

Lestat is clearly being manipulated during the trial, I'm assuming by Armand. Maybe that will come out in the finale.

I doubt they'll weave anything from the book The Vampire Armand, but he give us his "real" first hand account there. But, what happened after Louis was taken away, is FAR different that what Louis thinks happened. Remember the only one in that room that knows what happened after Louis was taken away is Armand, and he's always fuckin with people memories.

People like this Lestat fan are so mad at Armand. Yet in the show, this version of Armand had SAID he regretted it in the presence, AND he saved Louis, in the book, Armand didnt care at all what he did, dont effin compare the book Armand to this version. Unlike, Lestat who sit there and did NOTHING. I dont care what the book said, THE SHOW IS EFFIN DIFFERENT! In the book, Lestat looked unkept but had good clothes to wear, BEGGED Santiago to let Louis go. But in this show, he looked the same, no scars, no nothing! And he was effin ignorant and wanted BOTH of them to die. And, funny, NOBODY was angry at Lestat who abuses him physical in season one, which the REAL Lestat (I wish they were accurate to the book Lestat) would NEVER do. Not to mention, Lestat in the show LIED in some of his statements, too, like how Louis stalked him, told the vampire laws. But to be honest, ALL are to blame the theatre of the vampires, Louis, Lestat, Armand. But, seeing you are effin bias, your review is irrelevant.

Gotta remember the show writers are following Anne Rice's book very closely. She wrote so many vampire novels! Loved Claudia's evil laugh in this episode. I watched this episode twice. Once with subtitles.

Armand had all the strength to set Claudia and Lois up. I feel Lois is just as complicit in Claudia demise. Lestat was lying about Lois hunting him. How could a mere mortal over power an immortal. Please lestat arrogance was showing again. Brilliant show and why is no one talking about Daniel Malloy performance 🤔

Armand is a lying liar who lies. He put the whole coven to sleep an episode ago and stopped time but just couldn’t save Claudia. He’s a liar. He wanted Claudia dead. Louis fans never hold him accountable for anything. It’s always Lestat’s fault! Please! Louis’s actions caused that town to be burned down, and he sentenced Claudia to her ultimate fate! He bares a lot of responsibility for what happened with her!

the amount of people I've seen defending Armand's lying ass saying he couldnt take on the united forces of the coven mind control and the formidable Sam 😂. Maybe so (bull), but he had the choice to let Claudia and Madeleine go instead of helping capture them

Hate Lestat?! You have not heard from Lestat in his own words/perspective. It's all been through Louis unreliable memories and Claudia's journals. Don't hate him yet
