This was really nice to see Cleeter. It's cool to hear from Maddie since she's such an important part of your life. I know you try to keep her out of the spotlight so she can have some privacy in your lives, but this is one of those parts of life that it's fun to share when you can. You guys are gonna make some great parents.
Cleetus, you have said the three most important things in the situation. 1 We'll figure it out! 2 Maddie's maternal instincts are going to kick in! 3 FREE MOWING!!!
I have said it once I’ll say it again. There is no other automotive RU-vid channel that makes me smile like yours! It’s so real your videos just show how passionate you are about everyone in your life and it’s just a joy to watch! And there are bad a$$ cars haha. Thanks for what you bring to my life in the form of enjoyment!!!
@@andrewstoner4355 uff idk- the dad already set the damn bar pretty high. Basically a jack of all trades when it comes to racing or anything to do with 4 wheels.
This is very true! Currently 9 months pregnant, and my husband also mentioned before I took a test that my boobs looked bigger. For us women though, we never even notice it! We must not “keep track of them” like the men do! Haha
Maddie is glowing, its just a miracle how a woman can fully prduce a human from nothing, when you see your son for the first time, you'll breakdown, there's nothing stronger than the love for your child. A new born babies head just smells so good, at least to me. You'll make great parents, because you both want it so bad. God bless you both and your new son.
I agree 100%. I wanted a boy so bad. But when i found it was a girl. I didn’t care about it not being a boy. My first question was is she ok and healthy. Well I hope one day you do become a dad. It’s the best feeling in the world
That was my biggest fear when i found out my wife was pregnant. Luckily we had two healthy babies, a boy and girl. I know people that weren't so lucky.
@@cannmanabis2869 he's weird because it's noticeable that her chest has gotten bigger, a natural occurrence when women are pregnant and the body prepares itself to produce milk to feed and nuture the baby? Seems pretty organic to me, definitely not weird and kinda cool. Who doesn't like bigger boobs even if they are temporary?
The amount of love y’all have for each other is palpable in this video. You’re going to be amazing parents. Only advice I have as a father is to be present, live in the now, and enjoy it! Time really flies with kids.
I remember when my little girl was on the way. Scariest moment of my life when we found out my wife was pregnant. We'd been trying for many years. Shes my little sidekick in almost everything I do. Her favorite picture is with you Garrett from Rocky Mountain Raceweek in Noble,OK. You straight side stepped a group of adults to take a picture with her. You've already got the instinct for raising kids. Love seeing you both so happy and Madi glowing like she is.
Good thing is going to be having Jackstand around. He's been doing the dad thing for a couple years now and I'm sure he can give some advice on the work/family balance.
I saw James with his family at Klutch Kickers last Saturday at the Freedom Factory. He sat in the stands with his son for a few minutes. Best part was nobody bugged him. Just watching the races with his little buddy. I was sitting behind him with my 8 year old son…it was a good day.
Great video. Glad to see the excitement building about bringing this new life into your world. I’m presently on the other end of “life on the planet” at 75 pushing back against metastatic prostate cancer. I so enjoy this channel, as you all share your lives with this huge crowd of subscribers. It’s 5 star entertainment watching this channel grow and offer some of the best automotive entertainment offered anywhere. God bless you two(three) and and the rest of the Freedom Factory crew.
As a father of six, enjoy the time when their young. Parenting style will change as you learn what your child needs, what they respond to. So excited for you guys.
This is the best you guys are amazing.. I really love that your keeping the whole cleeter fam involed. So good to see you guys happy, healthy a comfortable
Congratulations y’all! It took my wife and I almost 7 years to get pregnant. But let me tell ya racing those cars and all the fun stuff you do doesn’t hold a candle to the excitement your gonna feel when you hold that little life in your hands for the first time!
Glad you guys got there man, took us 5 years, 2 miscarriages and a lot of tears. Have the coolest almost 3 year old daughter now, wouldn't have changed anything in the end. For the average dude, the cars take a bit of a back seat for a while, but I don't miss it, my daughter is at an age I can take her to events now anyway, she just can't reach the pedals yet.
I think she’ll be a great mom. As long as she remembers that everyone gets overwhelmed at some point and it’s ok to say that you’re overwhelmed and could use some alone time.
I set one night a week for my wife so she can get out of the house and do whatever she wants so she can decompress from being home with the kids. It took years for my wife to understand that even when she stepped back and took the time away that she is still an amazing woman and mother
As long as? She is so down to earth I think she will be really great and power through it like a champion. Cleetus chose her, out of possibly many options and offers because he is a wise man.
As a young dad here, I’ll say it’s an absolute blast. I’ve been in some fast cars (of course, nothing like ruby, Leroy, or mullet), but none of those cars compares to the wild ride of parenthood. Enjoy every minute of the pregnancy journey, and ever single minute that lil boy is here.
Dad life... there is NOTHING BETTER! I remember when my son was born the excitement of coming home from work and holding him was overwhelming. I changed his diaper more than his mom. It was wild, in my mind, no one could do as good of a job then me and loved the feeling of taking care of him, holding him and feeding him. When we went out I would push him in his stroller or shopping cart. Even now, he's 8yo and he sits next to me when we eat out. We even watch your channel together and other youtubers you have had at the Freedom Factory. We also work on car and truck projects together. I love teaching him to work on cars, weld, tune etc... we also have land where he gets to raise chickens, goats and other animals. It's bitter sweet as they grow up. Around 1 yo the walk, before you know it they start talking, then having full conversations, then telling jokes and calling you out etc... and they REMEMBER EVERYTHING!! so don't say you will do something and forget, because they WONT. LOL... Then you see their personality. It's AMAZING you to will love it. Like you said Cleetus, teach him to earn what he gets. make a man out of him, not a snowflake. The world has WAY to many snowflakes.
This is really cool of you guys to share. what a fun exercise! My son just turned one, and he's watched so many of your videos with me. He's all in with the bald eagle machines here. Anytime he hears that two step, it gets his attention and he's ready for live action. This boy really does love racing, and I think a big part of it is the positive energy and fun you guys have in your videos. You both are going to be awesome parents.
As a pretty fresh dad, we aren’t prepared for a million years. And we have no idea what we are doing. But it all comes natural when you hold your child for the first time. Everything you need to do will all come to you over time
Great video! That was really fun, thank you both for sharing such personal thoughts about the new life you are bringing into this world. It will change you both more than you will ever imagine!
This was a great idea, later in life you can go back and see just what a great couple you too make. You both will definitely be exceptionally great parents , there is no doubt in my mind. congratulations.
My favorite thing I wanted with my baby was seeing him smile and laugh, now he's 16 months old and everyday he's a happy giggly little boy and it makes me so happy
My wife and I just had our second daughter 2 weeks ago. You guys will be awesome parents. The best advice I was given and I pass on is do what works for you and your child. Congratulations again. Cleetus and Madi remember the feeling when you first hold your child it is the best feeling ever.
What a fun interview. Met Maddie, Garrett, his parents, and brother at C & C Houston. They're such cool and good people- exactly as we see them in the vids. Couldn't be happier for the new baby and subsequent kiddo's. Enjoy your time with them when they're little- it goes by so fast! You'll figure it all out as you go, and you have your family's nearby to help.
This is awesome and the video hasn't even started yet. Glad to see Dada Garrett and Mama Maddie have an awesome little Ripper. Best of wishes to both you guys and the future little Ripper
As a father of two amazing girls it's enjoyable seeing you both talk about your expectations of parenthood, You two are going to make great parents so enjoy and cherish every moment...
Maddie is absolutely GLOWING. She really suits being pregnant. And Cleet I know you’re gonna be a great father. And maddie you’re going to be an absolute diamond of a mother.
Love the video and the genuine people you guys are. Always a fan for many years and love anything that’s put out no matter if it’s interviews, racing, science, or updates. Question that I have is, what are thoughts on names?
So happy for you guys. Maddie is going to be such a great mother and Cleetus will definitely be a great Dad. I was raised on a diary farm in Pennsylvania and I can promise you there is no better life and no better way to teach life lessons than growing up on a farm. You guys definitely got this.
You indirectly helped me through the labor of my first born. I labored at home for a while as i was induced the day before because I was a week overdue. It was during rocky mountain race week 2019 so you had been uploading daily content, I remember watching your videos while at home with my husband before heading to the hospital. Coincidently we named our son Garrett! (We didn't know your name was Garrett until after the fact). Madi will do great during labor and delivery, hopefully your little guy don't keep you waiting like ours did. Do you have any names picked out or is it a secret??
Don’t really have a question for you guys, just want to say I am 45 been following you since the beginning and now my mother who is 76 with health issues and lives with me just enjoys the content so much, it’s become a thing. So I’m rewatching a lot of old videos so my mom can see the journey you have been on. Much love from Philadelphia, thank you for sharing your life and dreams with us. It’s an inspirational story for us car Guys & gals, but more importantly on a human level! Just love the fur babies also! Bless you both and hoping for a happy and healthy clutch kicker!!
We had 3 children back to back to back!!! They turned out great and they are all friends with each other!! Worked out great for us!! Congratulations and enjoy with while they are young they grow up fast!!!
Please more of this! I think more on the "what parenting style will you have?" question would be cool. To be honest seeing a younger dude with a mindset like yours is rare and I think a lot of guys need to hear what you have to say about raising your kid. You didn't say "Oh yeah I want him to have everything and life easy" You want him to work for what he gets and learn those hard lessons that most parents don't want to teach anymore
Having your first kid is easily the scariest and happiest time of your life. It was for me anyways. Father of 2 girls. Best of luck to the both of you for a safe and seamless delivery.
As a dad, I just want to say when you said "Get up and bring him to you" had me absolutely dying. HYB! I love you guys! So happy for everything you've accomplished and everything that is yet to come. I'm a follower for life!
Yeah, sorry Cleet, you can do more than hand him off to mom. Checklist when crying. Hungry, tired, gassy or cold. Cleet is going to have to learn to pump the kids legs to let him fart. Good times.
Mowing and edging was a big part of my growing up as well. It was pretty much understood that was my weekly responsibility. That and washing/cleaning the family car. It's great to hear you say that, because I really feel its a key part of instilling a healthy work ethic and sense of responsibly and accomplishment. Too many kids today don't have that, because they don't have regular responsibilities at home. I've seen it first hand. Really love and respect that you are sharing these thoughts with us. Thank You both.
First. You two are going to be awesome parents. Yes things will change, however it will only be for the good. When I found out I was blessed with one of each, the emotional rollercoaster was overwhelming and exciting. Enjoy all the time together, he's going to blow your minds. God bless, BTW Madi you look great, have fun in your upcoming adventures with this little giraffe 🤣
You guys will make awesome parents. There's no greater feeling then when your baby is born. I'm happy for yall and much love to u and ur family. It will be awesome
It was really great seeing Mr and Mrs Giraffe in their natural habitat! I really enjoyed hearing you talk about normal stuff and especially how having the baby will impact the "job" on the main channel. You guys will do a great job as parents, you have a world of friends who can lend their experiences and knowledge.
That was a really cool interview. As w long-time viewer of the channel, I know Cleetus really well, Madi not so much. I liked the relaxed informal setting on this video, I think I got to know Madi much better. She's going to be a great mom!
No lie, new baby smell is amazing! Also, pro tip. Take a small clip on desk lamp when you go to the hospital. Even the dim lights are really bright in the recovery room, so the lamp makes it easy during the nighttime feedings to not get blinded.
My boy just turned 6 months last week. It’s such and incredible experience. My wife had an epidural and labor was nothing compared to what her expectations were. You guys are going to be great parents and we’re all very excited to see you become a father
I have three girls. I love being a dad and I'm excited for the two of you guys, you'll do great! At the stage you guys are in, waiting for the due date, I would definitely be more scared if I was the pregnant mother because there's a person growing inside you and they are gonna come out, OMG that's scary! Thanks for the personal video, the fans who like you two as people will really enjoy this king of video.
2 things, any potential names that you've thought of? 2nd thing, after the baby arrives be sure to make time for each other. Having a healthy marriage and still making time for each other is just as important as being parents. You both will make great parents and that little boy has a bright future ahead of him. Cheers!
This was actually really funny! As a dad of 3, all the best! It's the best thing ever I had my first two exactly 2 years apart and that was a good age gap, and my 3rd was 4.5 years later... ooooppps
First off congratulations! Second, I have 2 daughters that are 18 months apart and it's so cool seeing how they are going to be best friends! They play so well together! Just my thoughts for ya!
“The altitude” 😂 that damn altitude, nah all joking aside, y’all’s life is about to change forever and it’ll be the best change ever, it’s amazing raising children. Congrats 🍾🎈🎊🎉
Mine is absolutely obsessed with sniffing baby heads, I never have understood it but is definitely a thing. Congrats guys, really happy to see ya'll sharing your life's journey with us!
