James dad instincts kicked in when George was making him nervous and he protected that boy absolutely beautiful love seeing good dads as a father who raised my son alone from birth to 20 now I love seeing this
George is one of my favorite people on earth, really hope to meet him someday. Cleet too😂😂😂, but George has brought so much happiness to so many peoples lives!
I was at the cardiologist today for a stress test. I thought I would have to run on a treadmill or something but they hooked me up to some machines and played this video.
The entire sequence of George flying is just comedic gold. Terrain terrain terrain!,(James giggle) Throttle throttle throttle!, (oh my gosh!) Button button button!!! (It's gone). 😂😂😂😂😂
The RC plane content is my fravert. so much so i brought one a couple of months ago and now love it. (to be honest i'm on my third one because i keep crashing)
I would suggest you buy a cheap foamy 3d plane with a 600 to 1000mm wingspan. they are SLOW and easy to fly when you trim down the control surfaces. Batts are also cheap as they use small ones. My 600mm plane use 3s 800 mah batt and can fly up to 7 minutes of chill flying and about 3 mins of hard 3d flying. When you feel good with the plane you can give it more throw and fly more agressively. The flat foam planes are so light they are hard to destroy and fast to repair with superglue as they are just flat panels.
Soooo glad to see cleetus getting into 3d. I see 40 to 50% scale aerobatic gasser in his future! Nothing beats 200cc engines, 35 inch props and 12 foot wingspan hovering in your face!
@goosenotmaverick1156 the way cleetus goes all in on his hobbies, I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up with a nearly full scale rc plane Lol he's still pretty new to rc, I give him a year or two before he starts pushing limits with it if he has the time and motivation for it
Love the RC content when I was a kid I used to drool over all the RC stuff the hobby grade RC stuff anyways now that I'm an adult and I've had kids we have gotten deep into the hobby!!
Yes, just take one big step and throw, no need to run. Also keep it as straight into the wind as you can. The reason James bungled the first two was because the wind caught it from the side (and the B2 is difficult to grab hold of).
I started out with a Hobby Zone Mini Apprentice with the Safe system. Then worked my way up to big gassers. The most expensive plane I had was a Horizon hobby P3 Prometheus BI plane . Considering how windy it was I’d say George did pretty good. Cleetus did an awesome job hovering that big jet!
The top three made my day. Thank you for the extra time doing that edit. My wife asked me if I was okay as I was trying to laugh quietly and failed part way through lol
Tip for george....when the plane is coming at you ...push the stick toward the low wing. You don't wrong every time. Plus you should be in low rate. And your suppose to stand behind those little white fence things.
I got my own carbon cub s2 a month or two ago mainly because of you. George is pretty much exactly how I fly it. Just broke the front end off it today hitting a tree and nose diving to the ground. I made it last longer then I originally thought. (It’s glued and ready to fly tomorrow) That safe button is legit 🤘🏼 keep the McFarland aviation content comin brother!!
These are my favorite videos I feel like George flying with my grandfather with his dollar tree foam planes for the first time and him beyond stressed out. He was an amazing builder made hundreds of planes and still does made my first one recently and it immediately crashed on to the next one.
I cannot get over how much Rip looks like my oldest son when he was that age. Even more than that, his son and lil Ripper are even closer in appearance! Maybe it was that Omaha lifestyle🙂 love seeing the family fun!
Watching Jorge fly is the most I’ve grinned while watching a video in a while. The flying, the commentary, just hilarious! Maybe you need a segment of “George try’s to”
I think I need to electric shock my heart to get the rhythm back, Im sure it stopped a few times thanks to Georges flying. That and I couldnt stop laughing. So funny guys
George needs an apprentice 15, it’s a little bigger than the cub and has super stable flight controls plus the oh crap button lol! And it has all the same modes, I love mine, can I just say how awesome it is to see rip out there with the guys and everyone just having such a good time, I think my son is very close to rips age and it’s just great to see him getting all the love from all the guys!!! Hell ya brother! You guys are awesome
I love how you don’t curse on video. I love even more when you do on accident though. I don’t know why but it’s so funny to me. That’s just how you know there havin a good time.
George flying is so entertaining. Man get himself on the verge of destruction and somehow saves it every time. Need to let him fly bigger and more expensive planes, it’d be even more scary 😂
Honestly I love these videos where you guys just go out and have fun together. Love this video. Thank you for all the continued great content! My favorite RU-vidr! Thank you Garrett Mitchell and crew!
OMG Cleeter, Rip is so damn cute and its obvious he loves his daddy! Keep up the hard work. Its paying off. Bret, Olympia, A&P, Master Tech, Private Pilot
The way they were all SUPER stressed about Jackstand hand launching, but still having him do it anyway despite a pro hand-launcher (Alan) being right there 😂 Thank you for that. This is why I watch.
George flying is like one of those "Spectator Stole The Plane" skits at an airshow! Giving everyone heart attacks but secretly a great pilot putting on a show. 🤣
