This cast is so perfect... These actors seem born to play the roles they were given. Mortal Kombat is historically known for always adding new characters to their roster so I don't find the addition of Cole's character weird or unusual, and Lewis Tan seems like a perfect fit to play him. I ain't mad at it.

Robin Shou as Liu Kang was my fucking hero as a kid and im caucasian...Weird Hollywood should have realized long ago i dont need characters to look like me to feel personified by them or inspired by them. It would break my heart if someone told my young self i cant be like Liu Kang because im not asian, or like Blade because im not black, or Ripley because im not a girl...i feel like the 90s was the most sane and least racist decade we ever had.

The biggest problem of this movie is that it's way too short . Some of the scenes were obviously cut and don't make sens! They better release extended version ( like JL Snyder's cut)

I like how they cast a crew that either has actually studied the game and lure or has played it as a child instead of really expensive actors that they just thought would've made a good movie.
