As an asexual person I find this so important that people understand this, all the different ways in which relationships can be healthy and comfortable for everyone involved.

My partner and I are both on the ace spectrum and trans. Often it's hard to have other people wrap their mind around, but honestly it's the most fulfilling relationship I've had.

I'm ace and autistic (currently working on getting an official diagnosis before I hit 18, but it seems a sure thing that I will be) and this made me feel really hopeful about maybe one day having a loving, comfortable relationship.

I'm not touch repulsed, but some days my body hurts so much touching makes me want to vomit, but my husband and I happily make things work best for us. It is beyond awesome to be able to relate to someone in a similar situation that is also happy and fulfilled with their relationship

Heya, I'm asexual too and I'm sex repulsed so I'm not going to do "the thing" but I was just curious to hear about how other asexuals deal with it and hearing about your story and thoughts was really informative and it was relieving to hear that you can still have a deep connection by touching or hugging etc. I've struggled with feeling like nobody is gonna want to be with me because of my asexuality and that I'd either have to do something I don't want to do to please the other or just stay single. I'm trans and ace (sex repulsed and slightly touch averse) and sex has never really been something that I am interested in (or comfortable with). Now I'll be starting T in the near future (only a few more months if things go as planned - yay) and I wonder if my feelings about sex and relationships (and my body) will change once I'm on T. I'm kinda excited and terrified at the same time about that possibility. This video was cool because it really emphasized how different "sex" can be. Maybe at some point in my life I will have some sort of sexual experience or maybe I'll stay an asexual non-sexual plant forever....who knows :)

I got told that asexual and intersex should not be included in the lgbt community and that the acronym should not go any further than lgbt and there should not even be a + at the end to include others. They also came after me for including two spirit... this is sad.
