Just found your channel! I’m an INTJ. It’s nice to watch someone who is the same type and has the. The same experiences. It’s good to watch someone who REALLY gets it!
It is awesome that you shared. It doesn't sound pathetic. Sometimes we keep hitting brick walls until we learn what God is trying to teach us (imho). Also, I think we need to learn to be content in whatever circumastance we find ourself. That is a quote from the Bible. It basically means to develop a thankfulness mindset (as a Christian, it is easier to do because we see God's goodness everywhere; in the good and the bad there is something to learn). God also is our hope, our joy, our Light. ♡ Saying a prayer for you, that you will come to see His plan for your life. ...And that when it happens, you will know He knows your inner most thoughts and will give Him glory.
I'm an INTJ T lawyer in a similar boat. Watching a year later and also going into the holidays, it's hard, and we make it unbearably harder. Subscribe, liked, and will turn on notifications (one, if not the only channel with notificationson). We’re a strange, small community - but we’re we value introspection, we yearn to learn, and with so many young adults feeling dissatisfied these days, I'm sure your channel will flourish. Best of luck man!
I understand this all too well. I just came through a period of time where I was stuck in my own head, became too self isolated, and wasn't getting my ideas and thoughts even on paper. I just recently became acquainted with the 16 personality types and found out I was INTJ. Knowing this and studying those traits has made a lot of things in my 36 years of life make sense. Great video and keep going!
I am going through my own personal INTJ depression and this helped me better understand how to proceed with fixing it. Thank you and don't stop doing what you're doing.
I am INTJ and 1. You are not ugly at all, far from it. Not sure where you picked up this belief from. 2. You actually inspired me a lot with this video with your vulnerability and openness which is not easy or characteristic of an INTJ. This is apt given that I was already thinking this by the time you’d mention that you’d wanted to inspire people on RU-vid. 3. I totally understand what you mean and I feel the same way. There are just certain things in life which I have tried hard to get but have not been able to attain and it leads to depression that slowly compounds over time, and for me it was so gradual that I only realised recently that I have been depressed for months on end Thank you for inspiring me with this video and I wish you the best with your endeavours. You have the tools to get what you want. In parallel at the same time one of the belief systems that has helped me a lot is Stoicism, I recommend exploring it once you feel better (which I hope is soon)
@Indeed350 firstly thank you for the compliments and I am glad that I have inspired. Secondly I am doing better and am focusing on the tasks a bit more than the end goal. Thank you. I hope that you enjoy the channel further and the content I produce in the future 🙂
Its understandable man. I've had similar experiences in regards to depression regarding our place in life and our progress. I subbed to your channel 👍 Best regards An Aussie INTJ 8w9
First of all keep up with the brilliant videos they have been invaluable in understanding things I do and say as an Intj. Secondly thank you for sharing the troubles you have had I have been going through a similar situation in my job and recognise many of the things you describe. The hardest thing is to make peace with the messy world beyond our perfect mind models.
@le bored you’re probably stuck in your own head. One thing that I have found extremely beneficial is to start exercising. Find a RU-vid video, program or friend to help. It’s benefits are three fold for us: it helps produce chemicals in the brain that fight depression, it gets you out of your brain and focused on the external world (great for Se!) and it helps promotes everything we are good at such as scheduling and efficiency. If you are able consider starting it today
@le bored you’re welcome! Keep at it and if you need any other suggestions, have other questions or would like to share your progress just drop a comment
What?!? You’re adorable! There are a lot of people that are making videos about INTJs, but they are not INTJs themselves. I joined your channel because I wanted to try to get inside the head of the INTJ (almost impossible, but I’m an INFJ, so it will happen). But making videos talking about personality types isn’t an INTJ thing, so you’re a literal gold mine! In this video in particular, watching you be vulnerable when talking about what’s going on in your mind was amazing. Keep up your great work!
@Cynndra thank you for the compliment. And yes, as an INFJ you will get into the INTJ mind as it is inevitable. I have been down that road with my cousin who is also an INFJ. Just be warned that it goes both ways 😉
Perfectly resumed ! I got it this year, I put all my energy, plans, and determination. I got big frustration (and damaged my hair during sleep) because I know, see all the problems, I know I have all the skills for a job, in the company where I worked before temporary, they refuse me because they (ISFJ ISTJ) think I am not capable. And also know an INTJ like me, and I like him (we were coworkers) he answer well to all my messages, except the ones related to plan "to see each other again" Poor guy, I hope he is not as frustrated than me. So I fight depression and frustration by do video and try share MBTI, by doing thing Te. I started RU-vid too, because I want help others and myself in same time, want to "save" the IN types. I fed up people think IN types are stupid whereas they are more intelligents. I am gifted and most of people think I am stupid or unable, hard to find a new job. The MBTI has put together all the pieces of the puzzle of my life, all make sense. this has unlocked my potential.
I get the sense that you work to your detriment more than you need to. You are an INTJ you are good at systems and analysing things. Find something that you are passionate about and analyse it. People that are interested in it will enjoy your insights and personality if you show them YOU. Don't try to be nice to people all the time. If you try to appeal to everybody then you will appeal to nobody. Look at the Reportoftheweek dude for example. People like him because he is genuine. I know you like games, but I don't know why you like them. I don't know why you like some games over others. What games don't you like? Be true to your Fi through your Te.
Don't try to act like a feeler. There is nothing wrong with being a thinker. Authenticity is what people like. If you are authentic about your passions people may not appreciate your passions but they will appreciate you for you.
Hey I am 23 yr old INTJ and have been depressed for more than 7 years.... I even started taking antidepressants but i moved coz of my job which i dont even like but i moved coz of narcissistic mother she is destroying my mental health now i want to pursue my passion which is singing. i want to be professional singer but the problem is i dont know where to start because my mental health is really bad.....i would like to have some advice from you
@Himani Fafale there are a few things I would recommend highly. The first is focus on your health both mentally and physically. A great depression fighter is exercising as it not only builds your body but also helps your brain chemistry. Don’t take that as me telling you to jump off your medication as I am not a doctor! Second thing is definitely get involved in your passion of singing. Reach out to a group in your area that can help. I wouldn’t recommend quitting your job but I would recommend looking for a different one that you might enjoy better that could also be tied to your passion of singing. Don’t give up on your passion and dreams but also be willing to bend a little. You may find your niche job that you love by doing the thing you didn’t expect
