I’m an INTJ female and my boss at my previous job was an ENTJ male. Definitely a powerful pairing. He severely underestimated me when I first started working there because of how quiet I was but when he saw how consistently good my performance was and how hard-working I was, he really took a liking to me. Something that I noticed about him- for as domineering and demanding as he was when it came to the work he had to get done, he would often ask me what I think about things before deciding how to complete a task. He was also very vocal with me about how good my performance was, which was rare with my other co-workers. He seemed to want to foster the potential and talent that he saw in me. There was also a natural “mental click” with him where the both of us had to say very little. He spoke. I understood. I spoke. He understood. Never a misstep. Definitely a meeting of minds. I did always wonder what this would look like in terms of romantic relations since it works so well in business. I think it can be a hit or miss in that department. But I can see why it would be such an appealing match.

I find it funny because I'm an INTJ and my husband is an ENTJ and he calls himself "the execution arm" because he carries out what I plan and deals with problems. We started a business together and it's awesome, we literally started with nothing. He also pushed me and made me more confident, he has always told me that I can do everything if I wanted to, and I've become braver because of it, I trust myself a lot more. We don't think we're dry, we're just private. Also, our drive is our family, so we build our goals around that.

I know this is an old video, but this is awesome. I'm an INTJ that's been married to an ENTJ for almost ten years now. The way you touched on the goals differing being a possible problem source really hit home with me personally. There was a lot we had to work through regarding that during the first seven years. I will say that no matter our differences, he's the only person that's ever been able to understand me fully and call me out on my crap and visa versa, which in itself is a very refreshing thing for me in a relationship. And you're right about us having feelings that go very deep. We are both extremely passionate and have a lot of chemistry in other ways, and when you feel comfortable enough to open up that part of you and share it with another person who is similar, I think the results can be quite amazing.

Im an ENTJ and my 2IC is an INTJ. She is such an asset and goes deep into subjects that I find time consuming and boring. I rely a lot on her insight and cautious nature. In turn she relies on me to get things done and mobilise the plan in the most efficient way. We compliment each other very well and have brought in the company a lot of money and in turn a lot of bonus and promotions for both of us. I have to admit, when it comes to theory she is really solid and scrutinises every detail - the odd thing is the team really dislikes her personality and thinks she's really stuck up. They fail to see the value she brings. That being said the two of us together are a force to reckon with and have really brought a lot of success to our team. We both accept she is probably more sound when it comes to the actual subject matter - BUT as far as actually getting it done and having real time results.. Its ENTJ all the way haha :)

Entj-s are sometimes annoying when they start feeling insecure and create drama. I (intj) have a boss who is an entj. She is extremely intelligent but also very manipulative, she needs reassurance and acknowledgement and butt kissing. I can't stand manipulation (due to my independence) and I do not do kissing up to anyone (I am incapable). So I can't stand her insecure side.

I find the way you sounded a little uncomfortable when you said you don't get how ESTPs get work done and have fun at the same time quite adorable.

I was crazy about an intj. Was amazed with how much we understood each other . Unfortunately, my intj was too much living in fantasy land and I ended up paying all the Bill's for it. Financially, mentally, and emotionally. He still lives in that reality I just cant afford. It. It's easier for him to lie and spend all his energy on that instead of just go getting. Oh well. INTJ-ENTJ: really really great for business. Dating? Not so much. I'm an INTJ and dated 3 ENTJs so far...but never really worked out. Ni dominant INTJ favorite pass time is conceptualizing, perspecting, philosophizing and pondering....creating the perfect understanding of the human system and the vision for the future. Therefore INTJ will look for this in his/her mate as a dominant function and hyper-deep intellectual depth. The ENTJ doesn't have this depth. It is very annoying and painful for the INTJ as her whole existence is built around this. On the other hand, the INTJ thinks too much and acts too little for the ultra-pragmatic ENTJ. Although both have the capacity for Ni and Te the very marked and significant difference is that Intj dominantly prefer Ni and Entj will dominantly prefer Te. Yea, we have the same functions but their frequency distribution is not the same. It makes all the difference. Been dating an ENTP for the last 3+ years...it works! All cognitive functions are..

I have a hard time spending a large amount of time with or being very close with an inverted person. It feels like I'm constantly either dumbing down my desire of energy and forward action in day to day life, or I'm working irritability hard to get him/her to step out of them self. I may have to go out to find socialization without that partner at times. Can be frustration involved in an inverted-extroverted relationship.

....errr, considering I can't STAND having to adhere to social niceties vs. bluntly questioning performance and competence...I HAVE to actually plan further ahead what I'm going to say to certain people at certain times otherwise, it's not likely to end as 'smoothly' as I'd like it. could u do a video on ENTJs and ENFJs relationships? i think they're like the ying yang. and at the same time they do share the same core value such of that is the ENTJs 'bring out the true potential in people' and that the ENFJs 'lifts people's spirit when they're down; motivating them'. or i could be wrong though. MBTIs just interest me though i'm not an expert on it.

I don’t recommend ENTJ’s and INTJ’s being in a relationship. The most you can get out of each other is camaraderie, but never compatibility. There’s no polarity whatsoever. There’s only so much the two can compromise.

ENTP i love ENTJs and Havent had much luck with them relationship-wise, but I only know one INTJ and hes dating the ENTJ i used to like, so we are friends. Guess i need to find more INTJ/INFJs. Too bad theyre hard to find.

here in New Zealand we have a very famous pair in a symbiotic relationship, being an ENTJ and an INTJ, as far as I can tell. The INTJ murdered his entire family of five, and pinned it on his dad (as an alleged murder-suicide). This did not work for him initially, and he was sent to jail. Enter a year or so later an ENTJ into the equation. He decided that the INTJ was in fact 'innocent' and then commenced a 20 year campaign to clear the INTJ's name and get him out of jail. This eventually did work. The results are a disaster, because the INTJ is in fact a killer and the ENTJ was wrong about him all along. If you google "Solid gold Bain' Perth, you can actually watch the ENTJ answer a question that is asked of the INTJ. The ENTJ has spoken for the INTJ for 20 years now. He is now trying to help the INTJ get $2 million dollars in compenstion from the NZ Govt/taxpayer.
