With nowhere to moor at Fradley Junction and being a lovely mild day I continue cruising to Handsacre, doing 3 locks I had no plan on doing when I moved off this morning.

Well mate I can honestly say that your videos are always interesting and informative .I am glad to see that you are safe and well Trev . As a retired boater the wind is always a problem for narrow boaters.. even if you have a bow thruster . The wind will catch you out.. I can remember a narrow boat that had broken free from it's mooring and was coming down the canal side on. Luckily for the owner a few of us managed to get it in to the side of the canal before it damaged other boats... Anyway Trev stay safe and well and have a happy Easter..🍺🍺🍺

Thank you Wayne. I do not get too much trouble from the wind, being a heavy boat and deep draughted. It is when mooring up or stopping it becomes a problem when the boat has no forward motion.

Hi Trevor I live opposite the chip shop in handsacre and I agree with you about the chips I don’t rate them at all.my daughter says I cook better chips than the shop .But it always packed people come from miles around for their fish and chips. I walk by beagle on the canals all over the network saw your boat when it was moored here.said hello to you the other year when you was by the love tunnel in handsacre have seen you in huddlesford and great Haywood great channel.narrowboat will moored where you was and I spoke to him in December he liked the chips but everyone’s taste is different.

What a life 😊 beer for breakfast dinner and tea . Cheesy chips for a snack and a glass of the red stuff know wonder you fall on your🤬 leaving the wheel house.
