Latin American and European Spanish versions are usually completely independent: different lyrics, different voice actors. But for this movie, they shared the end-credits version of this song ( • Into the Unknown | end... ). For this reason, the two movie versions of this song, albeit keeping the two voice-actresses from the previous movie, share the exact same lyrics.
I was considering a translation video with one of the Spanish versions, but I couldn't decide which one to pick....so in the end I didn't pick at all. Have fun spotting the Latin American and European version throughout the whole song ;)
Title: Mucho más allá (So farther away)
Elsa:
- Europe: Gisela ‪@GiselaWorld‬ (singing) & Ana Esther Alborg (speaking)
- Latin America: Carmen Sarahí ‪@carmensarahi‬

They do that for every version in a different language. They all rhyme and make sense for their audiences, but the overall message changes from English sometimes. Look up the Japanese version with English subtitles and you’ll see the meaning is almost complete different.

Haz venido a distraerme, no me quieras confundir. (Ah, ah, ah, ah) ¿A dónde vas? No me dejes atrás, ¿cómo te sigo a ti mucho más allá?.

@FlamSparks
@FlamSparks 4 года назад
@Kocisaurus
@Kocisaurus 4 года назад
@@FlamSparks Capisco, capisco.

"So farther away" doesn't make sense? The idea is there, but the words are wrong I think 🤔 My Spanish teacher a couple years ago (she's from Spain 🇪🇸) told me once that "to infinity and beyond" in Spanish was "Al infinito y más allá". So to me it would make more sense for "a mucho más allá" to be translated as "to far beyond", or maybe to "much farther away". Just my thoughts, maybe you disagree.
@sanchezespinozarandall694
@sanchezespinozarandall694 Год назад
At some point you're right, but when she talks about to go "mas allá" I think she refers to that distance between her and the siren voice. She wants to get or reach that siren. While "beyond" can mean to be past a point or something it has gone past a certain point. So in this case use "beyond" it wouldn't make sense cuz she wants to reach that voice, "beyond" is more like something out of reach. Don't forget that some Spanish words have the same writing, but depending on the context, they can have different meanings. Hope I have explained myself well.
@LewisRJHope
@LewisRJHope Год назад
@@sanchezespinozarandall694 Yeah, I get that, the Spanish is fine and makes perfect sense. It's just the translation he's given isn't grammatically correct, so maybe it should be "much further away" instead?

Watch "A Lo Oculto Voy", it's the alternative latin spanish version, and it's much better than this to me. Latin America dub used the Spain dub, "Mucho Más Allá", and, for that reason, both dubs have the same lyrics.

Because there are two singers singing this song. Carmen is the singer that dubbed the movie for all Latin American countries and Gisela is the singer that dubbed the song for Spain. People from Latin American countries call the this version "neutral" because it tries to avoid any regionalisms and words that can be misinterpreted in the 19 countries the movie was played. The Latin American version also tries to avoid any strong accent since accents obviously vary within regions and countries. While the Spain version has lots of regionalisms since this movie is dubbed only for Spain.

My TOP 5 Frozen languages^^ 1. Swedish (just because I’m swedish and Annika is the perfect Elsa) 2. English version cause HELLO it’s Idina. 3. Spanish (I can a few words and understand most of it) and Spain is one of the beautiful language as we all know. 4. NORWAY: The original language of frozen and it I clearly hear what they say because Norway is close to Sweden and I have watched a lot of SKAM. 5. Korean cause I love the language and the singers. This would be my 1rst choice but not for Elsa only for the song nothing to do about Fr0zen II _________
