your class is down to the point with no bull added that is absolutely refreshing sr I've learned more in less time with your video than with a video about modeling knives

Great stuff. I have done two online fusion 360 courses and you showed me a ton of useful things and tips in less time and more effectively than either of those. i thing you have a great point of view for beginners. thank you

Great video man! I learned so much in such a short time. The most importantly, as you have pointed out, we have to play around and figure out what do we need and want to do.

Very good intro! My one tweak is that vertice isn't a word, it's called a vertex when in the singular. Appreciate this great content, thank you for posting!

I would like to thank you for this spectacular video. I still didn't know these tools. So, I believe that they are very useful, in fact. Greetings from Portugal: João Carvalho.

'Vertices' is plural for vertex. You grab one vertex, and you grab a set of vertices. Just FYI.

Question, How would I convert a form from sculpt into a shell in model to create a hollow structure with thickness? Great video definitely cleared some things up.

After I place the box/shape and specify the number of faces, then click okay, Is there a way to go back into that dialog and edit the number of faces if I wanted more/less? Without recreating that box/shape.
@ChaosCoreTech0
@ChaosCoreTech0 8 лет назад
Yeah the timeline will usually let you edit features like that. There are exceptions but most tools work that way. You can just find the item you want to edit on the timeline, double click it, and it should roll back to that point in history and let you edit it. Hope that helps!

Very informative little video. I'm starting to feel more comfortable with Fusion 360 Sculpt. Question: If you want to change number of faces in horizontal direction rather than vertical, do you use the same slider?

Hello all, I guess I need your help... I created a sphere in Sculpt workspace and then switched to Model space, applied modifications using Modify/Combine/Cut functionality. I then switched back to Sculpt workspace to continue modifying it further but I can not continue as the object is in contours only. I'd need instructions as to how to switch back from Model to Sculpt workspace and continue modifying object in Sculpt workspace. Thanks...

Love your videos. But i had a problem in the sculpt environment, when i use edit forum on any edge. if i drag the arrows towards any direction to create a new face layer in that direction, instead i am getting the elongation of the edge towards that direction? Please, can you give me the solution how to fix this?

I have a really big problem with these forms. If I want to create a new one, it never shows the different segments ( edges, faces, ...) They are there but the form has a consistant surface. What could I do ?

i made a circle and extruded in into a cylinder. But how do you turn it into a sculpt? I want to make it into a curvy cone like the nose of a jet.

won't let me go and edit something I created it is greyed out and will not let me edit it. I only have a design tab where you show going back and forth from model to sculpt is not there. i can create a form but when i finish form and try to go back it won't let me select anything. what am i doing wrong?

Why is it every RU-vidr says "I'll put a link up here in the corner…" and they never do :-) How is it? Do you forget? Or are there limitations within RU-vid that you're only allowed inline links if you reach a certain status?

How about how to get into Sculpt in the new UI? I can't seem to find it, but I am new to Fusion and videos so far have not helped - they always show how to Sculpt, but not the "assumed" first steps.
