One useful thing on the website would be a glossary of terms. Many new terms got introduced in the videos but I haven't seen anywhere where they are collected together and defined.
@pacomaunoir-guerin8826
@pacomaunoir-guerin8826 Год назад
Also, when defining these terms, referring to the other terms they relate to would really facilitate getting a grasp on their build-up and interplay. Like how for perspectival knowing you need episodic memory that then enables procedural memory (what Vervaeke talks about in the Cambridge talk if I am not mistaken)

I’ll send an email to the foundation to suggest building a wiki style site for the propositional terms. Although the other 3Ps are needed, often beginners need a place to reference and define propositions (like a language learner getting a dictionary)

Fabulous. I participated in a session on meditation John led at a conference in Chino in May. I'm new to his teachings, but was excited by how this practice connected with my journey in mindfulness, mental health, physical healing, and journaling. I like the tangible approach here as a guided approach to help integrate what we know and are discovering through interactions with others. Great idea.

@Matterful

I actually think its bare-boned and minimal presentation (if that is what is intimating to you that it looks dated) is really important to the tone. It isn't steering your attention away from the humble offerings with salient, colorful et cetera. Could you offer some of your specific concerns and ideas for improving it? I especially think the calender needs no touching.

With all “due respect” - how can one even start a conversation about “wisdom” - when we don’t even include the beginning of wisdom? Man’s wisdom is foolishness. Truly. How does one gain any good thing without the source of all good? As much as we like to “pat ourselves on the back” and say that “we are good” - NO ONE is good, no not one. And if you, the reader, take offense at the words posted here - you would be proving my point.
