Thank you Dr shetty. Infact you madee weep/,cry of joy. Today im 60+. Im born miopia patient. In 1969 i started my academic journey by wearing spex left eye -11 and right eye -7 cost was Rs 40/- Later in 1979 my father bought contact lenses. That changed my life. I've three sons with miopia. Two have undergone laser lasik. Third one is looking forward. Surgery for first two is done by your institute product Dr Mahuli in Belagavi KA. God bless you abd all the medicos /surgeons. Right eye -2.75, cyl -0.95. Left eye -2.50, cyl -0.90 power hai Corneal thickness 509 and 511 hai

I can't see any difference between silk and smile pro -- I still feel smile pro is better than silk bcoz of Zeiss workflow and movable arms which reduces many errors in process

@@Sheela9999 SILK is also lenticular extraction based and the biconvex lenticular shape should actually lower nerve loss. So there isn’t any flap in my understanding

@@Aryan-qz2fq --Initially a large flat is created and then lenticular extraction starts ---once flap is cut --biomechanics is afffected which is not the case with silk pro---so this is just another contura type surgery with new name.

Smile creates small flap just like Lasik. Silk, makes no flap. Laser goes past the first barrier and reshapes cornea creating some sort of lenticule that gets removed by small incision. It's like PRK+Lasik combined but without removing top-tissue/creating flap.

Hello sir Maine silk surgery krayi thi 15 days hogye vision dur ka to bht acha aaya h lekien left eye ka abi 6/6 h partial, wo hole se dalke dikhaya to sahi dikha tha left se b, aur mjhe paas ki cheeze dekhne m noisy sa lagra h to dr ne kaha h mera paas ka no.
