Living with diabetes can be a rollercoaster ride of highs and lows, but with the MiniMed 780G system, we can help make it easier. Our innovative insulin pump system is the only innovation with meal detection technology* that automatically adjusts and corrects† every 5 minutes§. No more fingersticks with SmartGuard technology** means fewer interruptions. Learn more by visiting www.medtronicd...
*Taking a bolus 15 - 20 minutes before a meal helps to keep blood sugar levels under control after eating.
† Refers to auto correct, which provides bolus assistance. Can deliver all auto correction doses automatically without user interaction, feature can be turned on and off.
§ Refers to SmartGuard™ feature. Individual results may vary
** Fingersticks required in manual mode & to enter SmartGuard™. If symptoms don’t match alerts & readings, use a fingerstick. Refer to user guide. Pivotal trial participants spend avg of more than 93% in SmartGuard™.
MiniMed 780G system is for type 1 ages 7 and over. Prescription required. WARNING: Do not use SmartGuard feature for people who require less than 8 units or more than 250 units of insulin/day. For details, see bit.ly/780gRisks

Now i didn't have to worry about my diabetes anymore. Just some minor monitoring once in a day but i can take that.... It is wayyyyyy better then multiple daily injections... Thank you Medtronic for changing my life... I can't beleive this is really happening Thank you very very very very much❤❤❤

hey can you give more information of this pump? I'm currently using 640G and was thinking of upgrading it soon

@@manushreemundra5048 the minimed 780g system is the latest and the most advanced pump... it uses guardian 4 sensor which doesn't require frequent calibration like guardian 3 and it has smartguard technology which changes your basal insulin every five minutes depending on your glucose level... the minimed 770g can also do that but when your glucose level is way higher then you'll gonna have to take manual correction on your pump... but the minimed 780g will do it for you with auto correction... this is all I know and if you want to know more consider contacting your local medtronic customer care😁

Everybody talked about how great the new 780 G is and they finally have a sensor Gaurdian 4 that’s amazing. I’ve been on the pump for roughly 2 months now and I’ve yet to have 1 sensor not fail on me. It’s also has extremely painful insertion. The sensor requires way too much time & work trying to get tape just right while keeping sensor in your arm and you can only insert it in the back of your arm. I can’t tell you how thoroughly disappointed I am. The pump mechanisms and infusion set. Seems like they haven’t changed in 20 years, but they need to start over from scratch on the sensor in my opinion.

Is the clip better on this pump? I am constantly breaking the clips. They catch on everything.

Hi there. The pump clip is the same on the 780G system.

@@W0NK042 I've seen people in the UK using it for awhile now. And my medtronic rep. said they were still waiting on the FDA to ok it in the US.

Have you made it so that we can use something other than the horrendous & useless Accu-Chek Guide?!? Will this still work as advertised if we don't have one of the 6 phones in the world that the app is “confirmed” to work on?
@MedtronicDiabetesUS
@MedtronicDiabetesUS Год назад
The Accu-Chek Guide Link meter is still the approved meter for use with the MiniMed 780G system. In addition, the list of compatible smartphones and devices remain the same.

I'm not sure the "taking bolus 15 minutes before meal" is ok for everybody every meal. Be careful ;) Anyway many thanks, your auto mode makes me free now. Thank you :)
@RichardHead12
@RichardHead12 Год назад
It's def ok depends on insulin brand but most insulins take 30-45min to be absorbed and working. I take it up to 45min b4 certain meals that I have planned and there is zero spike.

780G, way too many change sensor alerts and medtronic only replaces 2 a year. The sensors too expensive to fail in 24 hours. Not worth it.

Hi, Joseph. If you are experiencing issues with your sensor, please notify our Technical Support team at 1-800-646-4633, option #1. We do not limit sensor replacements to 2 per year as stated and we would like to help. Thank you!
