How does the modifier work with an Aputure 300D ii ? Could be the best combo ever!

It’s been heat tested to work with 100w COBs for extended periods of time. For higher powered chips we can’t guarantee it would work at full power depending on how much ventilation the light would need.

@@dukekiduke Yes it could work. But outputting at higher power could potentially cause damage to your light.

Quick question, will this work with an old EF kit lens? Does the variable aperture matters? Thanks

It will work with most EF lenses! But the aperture will affect how much light is able to get through the spot.

Just what I’ve been looking for! Does it also work on strobes or mainly continuous lighting? Can you make custom patterns like on cardboard, paper or 3D printer?

It works with both strobe(up to 600w) and continuous(up to 100w cob). As far as the gobos, we recommend using metal ones on it due to the heat a spotlight can put out. We do have a couple expansion packs available for it too! www.fjwestcott.com/shop/light-modifiers/lindsay-adler-optical-spot
