I want a motorboat with 3 propellers (rip); Can you make them ips 2 to work with salt water inside,instead of oil?; i hear the ips 1 rubber seals letting salt water in,in just 4 or 5 years;and a FORTUNE to repair!! is that true?

If you maintain them properly it won’t be a problem, no more than if you ignore the stuffing box on your shaft drive..
