Best free study content, better than a lot of paid courses, I'm sure!

yes. yes it is. I took a class in college. Taught by a professor from China, could not understand him at all. Ended up playing Civ 6 because it released during class.

I paid $1500 for an ed2go online network+ class. It came with videos that were so bad I would laugh at loud at them, and they didn't even cover exam objectives.

Loved the Stargate reference! Made me smile. I heard SGC server and immediately thought of Stargate Command!!!!

Clear, concise summation of network+ certification objectives in digestible chunks. The companying note service (pdf or print copy) for this and other series are most helpful and highly recommended as a useful review guide and handy reference as well as a tangible way to thank Professor Messer directly for offering these wonderful tools for learning. These videos perfectly complement network+ books, labs and other test prepping resources.

I am taking an extensive, paid course for networking administration. The information presented both in my coursework and here, on Pro. Messer's videos are very different. Some people learn differently with different forms of presentation and Pro. Messer's videos are pretty much exactly what I needed to bridge the gaps. Thank you!

I love how clear your courses are. I also perked up when you said "SGC server," but figured it was something else - until I saw Sam, Jack, Daniel, and Teal'c pop up. Love it!

This is his best video Ever, as he references Stargate SG-1 at 7:35 and even uses them as a GREAT network example! LOL, purely legendary!

Lovely video. The concepts are explained well and concisely. However this is normal for Professor Messer, I am only really commenting because I loved those Stargate references. ^^

I was trying to figure out what an SGC server was. Star Gate Command, obviously, now I know who Sam is. Thanks.

I have a question concerning the fullduplex network, let's supposue i have a closed network (like in the picture) and i send a packet with an ip which is not in the network does that mean the switches will comunicate endlessly ?
@kadeem070
@kadeem070 3 года назад
Switches will check for mac addresses in the packet to see if its on the network. But if the packet has an outside mac and ip address, I assume it would only send 1 broadcast message and the packet dies, unless there's a router involved.
