After having a child, my exercise frequency went down and I was feeling so insanely guilty about it. So much so that it made DREAD exercise. I love what this video said about doing exercise to enjoy it & recently started incorporating the short walk (2.5km) to my kid's creche as part of my daily movement. I'm so happy. I get time with the baby and partner, we talk about work projects, and I get to meet the people in my neighbourhood. I also get about 25km walking each week, while having family time & fun. Happiness.
brilliant "speech", and i love the book, but, as a BED sufferer I find it very hard to disconect from needing food to appease any emotional. i lost weight recently and when i returned home everyone congratulated me. sadly, i knew it was because i had been restricting and returning to destructive behavior. guilty for losing weight was a new one. it was because i knew that the innevitable of dieting would come true: i have now gained it all back. square one?
i have suffered from one form of an ED or another since my teens (i am now 45). i am trying so hard to break this cycle, stop hating my body and free myself from the prison that is my mind regarding food. much love to all of you also fighting this war against ourselves
