The throat song that comes from deep in is really is difficult, but I hit it a bit while playing with humming

I never really understood the phrase "respect the culture" which people seem to use so much. Cultures exist and persist. They often contribute unique ideas and art forms to the world. It seems more important and relevant to be interested in and even enjoy those unique ideas and art forms. I don't see how "respect" has anything to do with that. I respect the people who can perform the skills involved in those arts, especially if they are highly skilled. But I'm just not sure what it actually means to respect a culture in general. Cultures are going to go on existing completely independently of where or not i display "respect" for it, as long as those who are part of that culture want it to. Right?

It's a handy term ... But ... If you start looking into the details of those circumpolar cultures, you'll notice that the term is a bit too broad and generalized. There's way more diversity in that ring than it might seem if you are looking north from a North American perspective. The Sami are QUITE different from the Inuit in quite powerful ways, for example.

Vaulson Neoleon In Canadian Inuit culture it was traditionally only done by young girls and women. But there is another tradition of throat-singing done by men in Tuva.

Part of the problem is that they are no longer living the old way, with it's type of work and diet. Industrialization and processed foods are affecting everyone. They don't look any different from the women at Walmart in the lower 48.
