Mikhail Rostov takes much glee in blowing up some houses in Invasion USA.
Also note the "80's"-ness of this scene -- in a modern action film such a scene would NOT have been stretched out as long, nor would it have the long setup time or employed such static compositions. Instead there would have been a crap load of lens flare, camera movement, quick cuts, and CGI. A true testament to the classic era of action films (for good or bad is for you to decide).
