Question of the Day: What is your favorite complex game? What would you call the Saga that ties these games together? (eg. Runesaga for North, and Tomesaga for West)
It is called „of the South Tigris“, also it is that river! Guys! XD By the way, your explanation of the rules as your thoughts about the mechanisms were really good. The game was already an „instaback“, but after your vid I am quite excited about it! Thanks!!!
Thank you for the video. I got Scholars a couple months ago, and I'm loving it. Definitely one of my most complex games too. Anyway, I am very interested in Inventors too.
You did such a great job explaining the game in a concise manner AND also highlighting a lot of the interesting parts of the game. Thanks again for another great video!
Wow your overview was very nice! I backed the game and really look forward to it. I have loved the south tigris series so far! Also Ilya love your shirt 😊
Thanks for the great video! For question on the day: Maybe scrollsaga? Also, a question regarding player count, since you mentioned it will likely shine at 3-4 players. AI aside, are there any other pros or cons at the 2 player count maybe not mentioned in the video?
It was still great at two, there’s a slight adjustment to the board with a “dummy” third player that supports the gameplay. It was easy to manage and integrate. I bet it’s also shorter at two.
wow it does look a touch complicated lol - the artwork looks great as always from a Garphill Games you come to expect. My favourite is Raiders of the North Sea. This game whilst looks great and usually don't mind a heavy style of game to play ... I still not sure if I will get this one. The issue is also finding players with you that don't mind having to play it a few times to really get into the flow of it etc
