iI find every episode that you do very informative in every way. i love the way you guys work together. just a question for you. have you ever done a night investigation on the main battle field.
@@paranormalrealitytv I don't know if you guys have heard of him but psychic/medium Craig McManus has three books devoted to Cape May, NJ which are excellent. He delves into the history of each house/establishment along with what he discovers while he's on location. I have all three books and they're easy, fascinating reads. I wanted to finally catch one of his Cape May ghost walks in October this year but they were already sold-out when I checked last month. Oh well...maybe next year.
I’m so glad you visited Centralia. As a kid, my family owned a cabin in Clinto County PA. We would drive through Centralia to get to the cabin. I remember watching it deteriorate over the years until one day, we couldn’t drive through it anymore. It’s very sad.
Jason, I consider you to be my model of what an investigator should be. I learned by watching you. I love these investigations that are just raw. No network added eerie music or sound effects. People, I've now been doing this for 15 yrs. and this is what it really looks like.
I was an avid viewer of the original GH. As the years went by with the different paranormal shows, I was so put off my the fake theatrics and demon stuff. Great job you two! 👏👏👻
Fantastic work. This is a rational, thoughtful investigation. No stupid spirit boxes, no freakouts, no dust or cobweb orbs, just two professionals doing a ghost hunt. More please!
Qestern Marylander here! I love visiting Gettysburg! Also Sharpsburg, Maryland/ Antietam Battlefield . Antietam September 17,1862 was the single bloodiest one day battle of the Civil War. 23,000 causality on a single day! What many people don't know us that 8 women, 7 fought for the UNION.Two as young as 15 years of age. A dead Confederate woman was found on the Cornfield by a Massachusetts Burial party! Burnside Bridge is very haunted ! Bloody Lane and the Cornfield and the West Woods are all very active! Former Democrat Governor William Do b als Schafer made sure that the land around Antietam would be preserved from development.Thank God! Every December ,23,000 luminary bags are placed on the battlefield! To remember the fallen! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I was thinking the same thing - that Sharpsburg is well preserved, while Gettysburg is so commercial. I've been to the Antietam luminary display twice and I highly recommend!
Gettsyburg is one of the best preserved civil war battlefields in my opinion. The battlefield itself is not at all commercial but very well protected and they are constantly making it more authentic via research. Little Round Top just opened up again to visitors after a lengthy restoration and they did an amazing job on it. The town has lots of options for vistors in terms of eating establishments and places to stay. I like Antietam and it is well worth the visit for Civil War buffs, but between the two I think Gettysburg has far more to offer for visitors. Glad both are protected!
@InnocentPotato-pd7wi all of Gettysburg is haunted and alive with paranormal activity. there exists no one place more haunted than another, it's everywhere there. but it's everywhere we who are living dwell too. no place is immune.
My wife and I love Western MD. My parents started camping at the Glen Acres Campground at Deep Creek Lake in '83 or thereabouts. The family sold the campground to developers for a healthy amount of money around 25(?) years ago and now it's an upscale housing community located right next to the lake. It's really nice but it makes me sad when I ride through it because we have so many precious memories of that campground. We haven't been there for 7-8 years but we're hoping to get back there soon. We would always make the trek to Swallow Falls nearby and Blackwater Falls in WV. I could use a breakfast at Penn Alps as well :)
@hondaphan4172 Unfortunately, developers ruin many places! Hope you get a chance to visit Western Maryland again! Penn Alps is a great place to eat! 🥰🤗
Great episode👌🏻 thanks for taking the time to show us the town and telling us the history, when you return you should bring some child toys as trigger objects like they did on GH
Jason, what I love about your videos, is that there isn't always spirit activity or paranormal occurrences. It shows that you and your team are not hoaxers. Keep up the good work! Stay safe.
I love when Gettysburg is checked for paranormal. My 4 time great mother was Belle (Isabelle) Gettys. She was the daughter of William . Her uncles James set up the town. One piece of info is that after the war the government claimed imminent domain over a lot of land. A lot of family moved out of the area because of this situation. That little bit of information is not made wildly public. I’ve seen it mentioned once in an article but the way it’s worded sounds like it was no big deal. Oh when they came to USA their name was Gettis.love you show!
Thanks, guys, for the Centralia information. I've seen several videos and documentary's but love the way you explained it best. You weren't jumping from thing to thing, love it.
Great video. Very entertaining. ;-) Thank you for speaking out about the trash dumping! IT IS NOT OKAY!! I don't understand people - littering streets and highways too. Put trash in it's place folks. The Earth is not your trash dump.
Bravo Jason! Always enjoy your work, the history, the paranormal content. You are THE legit ghost hunter. I've followed you since the earliest days of Ghost Hunters. Keep up the fantastic work. Love the 360 degree tours as well! Thank you for all you do!
I've missed watching GH so badly and wondered if and when it would ever return. So glad that you're still around giving us the same type of content. Never feel pressured to give us only paranormal material. The investigations that don't yield anything just let's us know you're still being real.
“Jimmy Stewart”. 😆😆😆😆 Oh, my gosh! He would’ve made a great Lincoln! And the break for cinderblock history made me happy. I actually learned something new.
In all seriousness, Jason, we are totally in your camp - November through February (with maybe parts of March) is PEAK time to visit. And the EVPs we brought back were mind-blowing!
At -- 35:34 -- you can heard the retun bang with the growl at the end. At -- 37:07 -- Listen very carefully -- you CAN hear a soft banging sound with a growl on the end.
Great stuff cheers, you nearly finished the lord's prayer, four scores and 7 years ago, old money old ENGLAND.thank you both for putting a big smile on my face, and the history before we get going is great, thank you so much, and please take care of yourselves and see you soon Alan 🇺🇲🇬🇧💯👻👍👍
Thanks so much for educating me on Centralia. What a sad, sad story. I have no idea why some people think it's ok to dump their trash like that...burns my a$$.
Another great investigation! Absolutely love these investigations and the format. Also, all the comedic fun as well! Looking forward to when you both can go back. Pretty cool that JV can still bust out into the Gettysburg Address, nice try for Jason😂
At the timestamp 8:29 when Jason missed the step a woman is humming. Almost sing song like. I don’t think yall caught it because it’s right when you tell him u missed the step. I rewatched that portion with my headphones on like 5 times. It’s definitely someone singing.
I loved this! Great show. I'm not great with words, but this was awesome and I'm looking forward to when you fellas can investigate in January or February, for a week! Goodness knows what you may find!
I love this RU-vid Channel Jason and and JV! It's really great to watch y'all investigating together! Come down to New Orleans and investigate some stuff down here again!
Too bad they discontinued AXN and GHOST HUNTERS in India...... good news is..... you're back with a bang on RU-vid.....🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉.....huge fan..... respect.....
Over the years I've been to Centralia many times. Only 1.5 hours from my home. Also Gettysburg is a place I'll never forget. As we went on a guided ghost tour in the building's and outside. We had some freaky excitement. J and JV thank you for doing this video in my home state...PA
I was in Gettysburg in mid August.. had many things & places on my list to see by Sunday .. started off Saturday morning @ battlefield @ last location was Devils Den .. .I felt like something was very unpleasant there .. got light headed.. started to walk back to my bf .. I felt a push unfortunately & I fell I thought sprained my leg .. but confirmed a leg & ankle fracture .. had to have surgery & few titanium screw & rods .. I’m recovering currently.. something’s definitely definitely there & when I’m healed I’d like to go back to tour rest of the town .. people there are so so nice !!! Thx for the share ..
Great episode! I love history and a great investigation into the paranormal, whether it's productive in the paranormal or not. Maybe I'm getting old. Either way, great job guys!
Off the jump, why in tf do ppl have to dump garbage like that? Letting my personal emotions show, but that's ridiculous. And was there a shot of Japanese Knotweed growing on that land? Can't kill that stuff anywhere, obviously. As to your video investigations on RU-vid? I love every single one so far. The free form, the jabs at each other, humor, and transparent nature. Really appreciate this more than network TV due to the freedom you have. Thank you both!
Hello Jason and JV I love that you’re here on RU-vid and doing little investigations! I’ve been a fan for years. I love that you are genuine and trust you above these silly kids who bring disrespect to the paranormal community. I’d like to make a few suggestions as a viewer if I may? When you’re doing investigations, would you be able to sit quietly in a room for a while instead of moving around and standing? There’s a lot of contamination from your footsteps in your episodes and I know you guys would understand that. A good idea at this place would have been, perhaps to sit quietly in the cellar and read the Gettysburg Address, then see if you got any phenomena. Trusted digital recorders would have been an idea too. I’m not criticising, I absolutely adore you guys, I just think sitting quietly, even if you don’t get evidence, would be better from a viewers perspective. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next episode. 🫶🏻
Absolutely great suggestions. We do some of that, but much of it gets edited out because nothing happens. As I am sure you know, much paranormal investigation is eventless, and that doesn't make great RU-vid entertainment. But I hear you, and we will definitely try to include more of that in our future episodes. Thanks for the comments and suggestions! - JV
I was an avid viewer of the original GH. As the years went by with the different paranormal shows, I was so put off by the fake theatrics and demon stuff. Great job you two! 👏👏👻
My moms cousin is the kid who fell into the hole in Centralia,he was playing with another cousin who told him hang on while he ran to get help,we went in 1986,we didn't hear any sounds and there wasn't all that garbage, the people never got a fair settlement from the government
I just love how he is so “real” . Unfiltered and himself. Not acting like something he’s not. You guys ever need an intuitive/ sensitive I would LOVE to go on an investigation with you both! I think it it would be awesome!
Great to see a new episode…. Jason or JV, would you consider coming back to the Old Charleston Jail? That was one of the most memorable GH episodes… Thanks for doing what you’re doing!
This was a great reminder to me about how I've been wanting to visit Gettysburg. I view that any paranormal evidence as a remarkable link to this sad but remarkable time in history.......one that makes the bridge of history tangible.
Ive always wanted to go to Gettysburg. Im an older an older woman, with no friends, single and won't travel alone. So i watch all these videos living vicariously through you all. Lol Than you Jason for always being my guide, even when you were part of TAPS. God bless you and safe travels ❤
I enjoyed the investigation and can’t wait for the next one. But what got to me was when @Jason Hawes was flying the drone and the garbage truck was shown in a neighborhood that no longer existed could they be responsible for all the garbage that is being dumped there? If so, that’s extremely upsetting to me that the city is using that area as a dumping site. 😢💔 Anyway, great job, Jason and JV. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
11:34 okay I watched it a bunch and the door on the right that was cracked open already was slowing opening as Jason was going closer, at first I figured it was the camera angel it wasnt. 😮 you can absolutely see it push out so slow!
Jason mentioned being on the square and that there could be outside voices, reminded me of The Whaley House. It's in "Old Town" and there is a restaurant across the street and it's a sidewalk width from a relatively busy street. Good Luck hunting there.
My wife and I stayed in the ground level suite(where your investigation started) in March 2023 and we had a nice two-day stay. Nothing paranormal took place that we were aware of but heading down the hallway to the bathroom freaked my wife out if the door to the basement was open. We had no idea the place had a long history of paranormal events but now we know. Gotta get back there soon.
I video taped a friend who had been in the movie "Gettysburg" as a reinactor. He had several paranormal experiences there. It was very interesting. I'm glad I taped it. Jason, I always wondered what you thought about hearing footsteps. Why would spirits have footsteps you can hear? .Just wondered .
I live in Burlington city these days How cool we could of seen you. I'm not allowed out really because of my chronic illnesses, but it would of been worth it for me😊
I visited the David Wills house in Gettysburg and captured a lady staring out the window and she was dressed in that era clothing..The house was where Lincoln finished revising the Gettysburg address and was also used for injured soldiers.I am assuming it might of been a nurse taking care of soldiers
That's the building next door to The Inn, correct? My wife and I stayed at The Inn in March 2023 and one of our goals over our two-day stay was to hang out at Devils Den for a half hour after sundown. Unfortunately, Mother Nature didn't cooperate as it was very windy both days so we didn't even bother heading out to Devils Den at sunset because we wouldn't have been able to hear anything with the howling winds.
I've been so spoiled by the Project Fear crew because this channel has the most uneventful videos of any group out there. Nothing ever seems to happen. 😢
'Ghosts' -- (if they're there) don't always appear or interact 'on cue'. There are 'tv productons' -- some show add 'stuff' for rateings -- JASON & BUD ... DON'T DO THAT... they're the real thing. They catch something or they don't -- and in TRUE '--ghost hunting that's how it really goes.
sorry about the stress you and your family and friends are going through. it all reminds me of someone with an alcohol problem. irrational, paranoid angry and lashing out. losing the plot. impossible to reason with or get any where near a resolution. saying that though, lots of similar traits in other mental health issues. only just found you again! really pleased to see youre still doing these . a solid, legitimate investigation and that baby sound!😮..i can imagine someone, maybe illegitimate baby out of wedlock, or loosing a baby, and they had a nursery ready for baby and couldn't stand to see the room anymore..maybe x
The singing was good laughing you guys are hilarious that’s a nice pair. I didn’t even get it. Jason said something I was looking at the pair itself and then Jason said something else I had just died.
