Arroz, I just wanted to say thank you not only for all the videography and hard work you do, but also for combing what must be thousands of hours of video to search for old footage of the previous babies in Bossy's troop. i honestly think your handouts are what made a difference this year in our troop that food helped improve their survival rate incredibly so ill say thank you for them as i dont see as the other troops have so many healthy little ones
Well, I guess the good news, be it as it may, is that only one baby was lost and not many as mentioned previously. It must be very hard on you Arroz to witness the hardships of your beloved troupe. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss, and can tell you're having a difficult time dealing with it, and also trying to figure out a way to break it to us. Your troupe is so lucky to have you as a guardian. Peace man.
Arroz, I knew there for awhile, something was going on with you. Now we know. Not only is your troupe lucky to have such a dedicated guardian. but we are lucky to have someone present them to us in such a dedicated manner. You make us think, care, love, and probably see deeper into your monkeys than otherwise possible. A horrible devastating thing to happen to so many babies...there poor mothers suffering deeply carrying them for a while. Hopefully they consoled one another. What a huge loss to them and to all of us who loved them. Today, May 12, 2017 we had hail in the Pacfic Northwest in the US. No doubt some of animals found it too cold...but, I doubt it was the same as the loss in Hong Kong, on Monkey Hill. Thank you so much for letting us know. Perhaps we'll love and appreciate these younger siblings of the ones who died far more than we already do. Love to them and to you Arroz Marisco for gifting them to us through your beautiful work. You have a great ability to tell them all apart, whereas I still have a lot of difficulty. I can pick out Dopey, Reddy, Lubby, Knotty and a few others, but I definitely depend on your notes to ID them during the footage. I'm also perpetually astounded by your ability to figure out troop politics and how each member ranks. Maybe that's something you could blog about one day? I'm sure lots of people would love to know how you figure that stuff out. Cheers. P.S. - Had Arroz Chaufa the other night at a Peruvian restaurant in NYC and thought of you! Oh I've read everything on his site so far, at least as far as the stuff about monkeys. :) I'd still love to hear about how Arroz pieced together the troop hierarchy, different encounters he's witnessed, that sort of thing. It takes a perceptive person to attune themselves to animals and begin to understand their "language" and their culture. Figuring out the pecking order must have taken many dozens of hours of observing them, if not more. This stuff is fascinating.
God Bless the souls & spirits of the sweet, precious, & innocent Angels no longer w/us. Lord, grant their grieving Mom's on this Mother's Day weekend the strength & courage to carry on despite the loss of the single most important thing in their life. The loss of the being that you loved w/all your heart...You literally almost gave up your own life to give birth to this little, sweet creature that's now gone. A mother's love is patient & forgiving when all others are forsaking, it never fails or falters, even though the heart is breaking. No baby is poor who has a Godly mother.
Oh, sigh! Seeing the footage of Dopey's baby sister and all those other precious little babes, awww. Oh the roller coasters of life, from such joy and promise to the deepest depths of sorrows... BUT No No No, my heart can't take the thought of one of our dear ones passing away... Romeo and Juliet says it best 'parting is such sweet sorrow'. Truly, God bless you Arroz Marisco for enriching our lives with these sagas. BTW: so the May 5th baby will be the oldest of the newest crop :)
Humans are so cruel! The reason for this rare bad weather around the world is due to Governments controlling the weather spraying Chemicals known as "Chemtrails" in the Atmosphere. The United States, Great Britain, Saudi Arabia and Germany along with China are all responsible for the destruction of our planets atmosphere. This is why you don't believe anything these politicians say they are out to do one thing and that's to line they're pockets with money but these fools don't realize that A. They can't take anything with them when they leave this earth and B. They have to answer to an All MIGHTY GOD! and if you don't believe that there is a God then I pity you people. This is not fair to our children and future generations or our Beautiful creatures of this Earth. Fight fire with fire I say and we all must pray for each other and our Beautiful Creatures. Dopey's siblings are carbon copies of him. It's startling! I'm wondering if something happened to Bossy Jr as you said her bold moves would be her undoing... but that has nothing to do with the weather. Oh I can't bear to think of it. :(
could it be that the moms are getting pregnant too fast and they can't feed the older babies enough? they still need mo. and with a new baby the older one gets left out and dies ??
NO I have to know who passed! I'll say Dubby cuz mom & baby prolly weren't in good shape from being on their own. When I was watching a meerkat saga on Nat Geo, a mom & her baby were ousted from the group & they both died. 😞 I didn't even know one of our moms was pregnant! Very exciting. But I still don't know how a mom can nurse a current baby, plus mate & get pregnant at the same time. Like Carbzilla & Cavan in Cambodia. I'm anxiously awaiting these answers & the new season! 🐒❤👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Wow! It amazes me how much their siblings looked like our babies. Dopeys brother and sister resemble a lot like Dopey, Knottys sibling looked so much like Knotty, and Lubby's sibling looked a lot like her too! So sad how so many baby's lost their lives all within days or weeks apart in such a short period of time. So sad! It always made me wonder though that the small juveniles that we see now, could they happen to be any of those babies that we thought may have been missing but in fact they just sprouted and grew much bigger? I thought I'd Atleast ask. Finally, oh my goodness! We already have a new newborn here? I think everyone should guess who they think the mother who gave birth is. My guess will have to be between Dolly or Bossy! The crazy thing is none of them looked pregnant! Unlike the monkeys on BBlovers channel (Sochhun) those monkeys look huge when they are preg! Then again they are huge to begin with. Wow! So excited to find out and see the new baby. Also, the real weaning

I am so confused.......so the video of them starving is dec. 31 then this one is updates of may......what happened to the other months and now a lot of this makes sense as I thought you posted your videos of the weekend on wed or Thursday but it's actually 5 months behind. I feel a little daft....lol

Arroz Marisco I am ill so I'm stuck in bed a lot and completely homebound.....so I go sometimes a few weeks and I don't get a chance to read the comments or usually I'm behind. I love your videos. First you always tell us which is which monkey or baby and groups. Second you post the messages on the video and this is what I really love as I have hearing issues and for some reason my captions do not actually show the right words and it gets so confusing. But I had so many questions and I'm glad you posted these last 2 videos as now I'm not clueless any more. Also I love you website. My granddaughter is 2 and when she comes here she get her tablet and she sits and watches your videos over and over (she loves dopey and Nellie). You put a lot of work into your videos and I hope you didn't think I was complaining.....I was actually glad to finally understand some comments and the times line. Thank you so much for all your work and bringing me joy each week I really never watched any videos of monkeys until you posted and I saw it. It was of stumpy. And I was hooked!
What baby died? I hope it's not Knotty, Batty, Bossy, Jr., or Dopey! Well, it probably isn't Dopey. Not to be mean, but I have my favorites. 😥. The new baby looks beyond precious. I want to scoop her up and kiss her! Yes I'm guessing baby girl. Belonging to Dolly probably, because of the lovely red coat and Dolly's ability to crank out babies. Btw, I love all the babies, it just would be devastating if it was one of my favorites. 😪

Ok! We are missing the baby with no name. Because Nony has recently been mentioned. Am I correct? I hate to see any of them not make it. Also, the baby that was kidnaped by Aggie? We really don't know what happened to that poor baby? Or maybe you did mention that baby? Not sure.
Vickie Francis All the babies of Bossy's troop have been named. You named 5 and I named the remaining 4. Also Dubby as we love and know him even though he isn't in Bossy's troop.
So very sad to lose all those sweet precious babies :( but on a feel better note I am not so worried about losing Dopey now :) I am so very happy to know that we will have new babies along with our older babies, They have become a part of many of our lives along with the videographer ( even tho we have no idea what he looks like we just know he is a wonderful caring human being ) :)
