Investigators ask Chris Watts what purpose their interview should have 

I don’t believe he will ever tell the whole truth. The truth is probably even more horrific than this supposed testimony.

"Do you mind if I take a picture of you? It's not going to go on social media or anything." Oh, okay.

The detective are stroking his ego good job he is singing like a canary.This fool thinks they like him they talk to murders every day he is nothing special.

You have to block out the fact they are being so nice and jovial with him, it’s to extract info from him, he probably makes their skin crawl as much as he does to the listeners.

He seems to be enjoying his freedom in prison. He no longer has the duties and responsibilities of husband and father. It's all about him now. He's in the lime light.

I don't think detectives are laughing with him sincerely, just a tool they use to gain his trust and truth. Mind playing...

Chris isn't gonna talk to them and answer all of these intimate questions, in such great detail and length, if they're treating him like a piece of shit killer. They're simply doing their job, and this line of work isn't always pretty. There's A LOT of psychological aspects they have to pull out and use on a regular basis to make their target feel comfortable. These investigators are attempting to finally find out the truth. The entire truth. The events that led up, occurred, and took place afterwards. Which is what the surviving family members/loved ones need and DESERVE. Remember, Chris doesn't HAVE to talk to them anymore. So their job is to make him want to talk. This is textbook detective work every investigator has to do, as well as a tactic that the FBI has been using since they even came about. Do u think law enforcement didn't speak kindly to folks like Jeffrey Dahmer, or laughed it up with Ted Bundy once in prison? If u think they all get spoken to like the pieces of shit they are all of the time, you're sadly mistaken. It's a sick world these agents/investigators have to step into. It is their job to put their personal emotions and moral beliefs aside over n over, 40 plus hours a week. We should respect what they're trying to do here. I understand this is difficult to listen to, not everyone is cut out to do this job....but everyone sure seems to feel entitled to judge it.

His family's bodies are barely cold and he can casually talk about Nascar and weather. I didn't hear a ounce of guilt. He makes my skin crawl!

For all you knocking these detectives. They have to laugh with him. It's good acting. Here's how it goes... he makes some lame joke... (5:10) Them: Laughing at his joke - then immediately after that, (5:17) TAMMY seizes the opportunity .... "Do you mind if I take a photo of you?" .... Chris answers yes. Do you think if they were hostile toward him ... he would be so open in return? It is completely psychological. They think he is as sick and twisted and idiotic as we do. (8:48) Get him talking about Nascar, butter him up and play into his narcissistic ego "you went to Nascar school didn't ya Chris?" Then more questions. All that stupid small talk is opening him up, gaining his trust, just like they did with the polygraph.

Chris Watts is far more disturbed than anyone realized. Shanann had no idea just what a monster she was married to. He should have received the death penalty.

what I wonder about most of all is that he seems like he has no whatsoever regrets of what he did to his children. Like he has compleately blocked himself outside of what he did. I believe he pretends he never had any children and therefore he can't miss them..I know it sounds insane but he should be crying and mourning and be regretful and keep as low profile as possible. Instead he seems to absolutely love beeing in the limelight,proud of whatever he did to be where he is today..as if this is THE life he always dreamt of having????

After watching American murder the family next door I'm convinced he's daughters were already murdered before he's wife arrived home and then he killed hes wife soon after she arrived.Its scary to think there was no domestic violence to even indicate something was wrong.All he had to do was get a divorce and continue hes life with he's new relationship.

This was premeditated (staged it as if she left you and simply "vanished" as you put it before) You never had sex that night please or that you were maybe trying to work it out. You are only saying that so we think you were so afraid of losing your girls and that's why you did it. Shannan didn't fight back because you held her down completely and she was trying to avoid waking the girls, plus praying you would stop for the baby. You resented the kids and her work for taking her attention away from you. You felt you lost your manly hood in that house by doing a bunch of lady things. NK made you feel male and important again. That's why you disposed of them so extremely cruel like "threats". The questions I have for you is...if you would not have been caught what would you be doing today ? Would you feel sorry as you claim, or free and clever as you did on TV ? (Holding a cross up to him)

A guy who was bullied by his wife for years and couldn’t take it anymore. Unfortunately he finally snapped and did some horrific things to her and their children.

I've studied psychology/human behaviour research for 10 plus years. I listened up and including the blanket and child. In my mind, I felt confident that I could have a career in law investigations. Did anyone else have heart racing, hands trembling and eyes watering imagining for a minute being that child or even just wanting to reverse time and be there to stop it? Would these stories be something you get use to? I have to wonder how healthy that is on those that work on these cases. How does that change the brain? Guess off to research further. May Gawd what quiet, socially awkward, insecure, lack of problem solving skills, psychopathy can lead someone to do!

Chris Watts seeing his wife giving birth can make men sick, and dealing with it is why men become attracted to other women. Chriss wouldn't make a good doctor and being married at the same time. Seeing dead bodies in the morgue and in accidents stays with you for the rest of your life. Chriss's choice to abandon his marriage and the fear of destroying their life ended badly.
