INVICTA Battery Replacement 

I’m glad I found this, I have 4 Invictas and 2 of them are battery. Since they have steel bands I’ll have to remove their bands too. I also have a watch repair kit with the same exact tools as yours, and I used to resize watch bands when I sold them at Macy’s. Now I won’t have to take my watches to a repair shop for a new battery anymore! I can start doing this for friends and family.

I always apply silicon grease to the O Ring and screwdown crown when I open up my watches. Vastly improves the water tightness of the watch case. A large tube costs around $5 dollars and is a no brainer in protecting the movement from water ingress. It is very inert and doesn't react to metals or electronics as it is a dielectric grease. I use a cocktail stick to apply the grease around the removed o-ring before putting it back in place and apply some all around the crown thread. Some people complain about the water proofing of Invicta but they expect them to perform with no maintenance. If they had a Rolex, Omega or any other timepiece running into thousands of dollars, they would get them regularly serviced. Because an Invicta costs considerably less, people don't service them but still expect the performance of a high end watch. I have 5 Invicta's, automatic and quartz and none have let me down because I maintain them once a year. Great video, cheers from UK.

Good Video. I wish I could afford a Invicta Watch. The nicest watch I have I got for 30 years of Service at Safeway. My everyday watch is a Timex Canadian Flag watch or my Ironman Watch. They serve their purpose and I don’t care if I scratch them. My good watch I wear to dances or funerals. Looks good with a suit.

This doesn't do a bit of good for my invicta. The case removal part is easy. My battery is held in by a wishbone holder. I ended up taking the screw out. Its hell to get back in. Pretty much at a standstill. Need a magnifying glass to see what im doing...

Please put the watch in a jewellers vice or boule to hold the watch.,if you slip you scratch the case back customer won't be happy.I am a bench jeweller by trade.
