I hope it warms your heart that even after 6 years I come back to this video once in a while to collect some inspiration :) I believe this is the biggest success any artist can make, to touch the hearts of others and have an impact in their lives, great job.

Sometimes when I think I can't create what I want to create with the equipment I have (I currently have a t3i + 50mm 1.4 + future 24mm f2.8), I'm floored when I see beautiful things like this filmed with something like my setup. This was beautiful and so inspiring!!

theirs only a few films done on a t3i or t2i where they actually manage to get a true cinematic look ... this is one of them!

damn colour correction was on point

Simply one of the greatest shorts out there. One day I was researching cameras to use for Living With Trevor (My upcoming feature Film) and simply clicked on a RU-vid short using the camera I was looking at. Next thing I knew I was crying and knew in that moment that its perfection and when I have a rough day I can look back to it and get inspired to do great things in this life. I might as well credit it in the movie because it has inspired me to do things I didn't know I was capable of doing. We all go through hard times but we always have an option. I now choose to get up.

No budget film maker here... I honestly thought that to get better low light for cinematography I would have to get something more relevant like a Sony A7s or a Canon M50. But this video shows that a t3i like the one I have is still far more than capable with some tweaking. Thank you for keeping this penny pincher from getting a metric ton of buyer's remorse. Hope all is well.

Always come back now and then too look back at what made me love film and cinematography . I was 13 when this came out, hopefully now I’ll get to what I’ve always been inspired by!!

This is the first short that I've seen that actually used this camera to its potential! Great film man. All the other shorts used with t3i really showed the amateur level of the camera and the people using it but you really brought it out! awesome man
