I didn’t believe this at first, but seeing word girl in the train station actually made my heart rate spike.

When they both said “This Planet” at the same time, i got chills.

Watching her get tossed around while Mark gets absolutely massacred is hilarious.

I remember seeing people talk about how similar the scene is but actually seeing them side by side makes me think this was intentional.

The fact that Miss Power threw WordGirl down to the Earth from orbit and caught her before she hit the ground is actually a pretty impressive speed feat tbh.

Now someone needs to re-animate the Word Girl scene to look like Invincible

I know everyone is saying the meme of invincible was inspired by word girl but the truth might actually be funnier. Invincible started as a comic in early 2003, and unlike the adaptations of the boys, the show sticks pretty close to the comic. Word girl came out in 2006, meaning that there is a possibility a writer on word girl was reading invincible, a saw the first fight with Omni man and mark and said, “we should reference that”.

One is a masterpiece of animation and storytelling with great characters and twists and with a beautifully woven plot that bring everything together with a climactic final battle that puts everything we've learnt about these characters into overdrive with some of the best animation I have ever seen.

The fact that Word Girl is legitimately comparable to Invincible is simply poetic.
