One of the things I love about this show is that it puts more meaning to powers. Viltromites (correct me if that spelling is wrong) have to work hard to fly, it's more physical than most shows make it out to be.

This is actually one of my favorite shows of all time. Every single episode just pulled you in and made you watch more. I know it probably won’t go long, but I wish they just kept making seasons like how dragonball does….it too good to end

I love Mark so much. I know he’s the main character & it’s pretty typical for the main character to be your favorite, I know but Mark is just the hero & character I needed for a long while. Relatable personality, likes to talk more than fighting (you’ll learn this later on in the series), being seriously strong while also not being super OP which is just boring for the last years with comic superheroes. Like, name how many reality warpers & universe and/or multiverse tier level busters in 60 seconds. Not doing the standard superhero cliches & the series is different from some of that. I agree, I absolutely adore Mark as a character. I haven't been this interested in the "main" character since the OG Teen Titans' Robin. Mark is just so relatable, funny, kind and constantly growing as a character that I can't help but love him. Plus Steven Yeun does a phenomenal job as Mark's VA.

The best way to write flight in a story, is to only use it for transportation, and then just…use other powers. Look at Homelander vs Butcher and Soldier Boy; he didn’t use his flight all that much AT ALL. That’s what I plan on doing.

in the scene where invincible is fighting the orange dude on the moon they can't speak because no air, but in the last scene where he is stopping the meteor he and his dad can speak normally and even take deep breathes

When i think about it, it is interesting that mark got his powers very soon after he got beat up. Maybe they "activated" as a response to that, which could also be why he hadn't gotten them sooner, as he'd been in very little danger until then (to our knowledge).

they're not in space, they're in the upper atmosphere, hence why you can see atmospheric heating on the asteroid as it approaches.

Can deflect asteroids but struggles with sewer bots....Still makes no sense. He could punch a massive crater into the moon with that kind of power. And I gotta be honest, they didnt do a really good job adapting Mark's personality from comic to tv. They tried to make him too awkward like Peter Parker, especially with that dorky sweater he would wear. I gave season 1 6.5/10...Hopefully 2 is an improvement.
