Season 2 did an excellent job of building that “will he or won’t he” with Marks mentality and methods of fighting. He possesses that viltrum DNA and involuntary upbringing.
Ye it makes the most sense when many timelines when Mark turns evil, no Debbie’s presence there. And so in the last episode of season 2 ((spoiler)) Angstrom really said Debbie join them, and yet not even once her AUs appearance, likewise she wasn’t there to raise Mark, maybe Nolan made that decision and raise him his own and so Mark has no empathy like human did, which is crap… Human blood and Debbie’s love is somewhat makes Mark stronger than pure Viltrumite (said as in the comic), as I did research before it’s emotions and adrenaline.
@@Steve_Plasmaalso theory that his human side makes him age faster and grow stronger faster, whilst being a perfect match for interspecies breeding (no down sides)
The comic is great for deconstructing the silly notion that killing a massive murderer or tyrant makes you evil. Later seasons touch on this idea with different characters but realistically supervillains are just terrorists holding millions of people's lives hostage and heroes have to stop them however they can. Angstrom was a victim of hubris and as for the average supervillain if they see other people's lives as disposable they'll have to deal with the consequences. It's why this comic is so good.
Nolan murders people because it's his job and he only started regretting it after thinking long and hard about how his actions affect others. Mark killed one man who was threatening him and his family and was utterly traumatized immediately afterwards. That's one reason Mark is nothing like Nolan.
5:05 Mark: “THIS IS INSANE! What do you think is gonna happen? That I’m gonna go and enslave my friends for a bunch aliens I’ve never met? Literally every other Mark: Sure Dad😀
Mark's character only gets better in the upcoming stories. He will truly live up to being called Invincible. Let's hope Amazon renews the show enough to complete the story.
The writer/creator of invincible said that invincible could beat superman and I disagree for 1 reason only: Superman could literally just fly invincible into the sun and he'd die, whereas superman would just get stronger in the sun
Invincible not killing is somewhat justified, but batman should just kill to be honest, because he essentially tortures them near to death anyway, expensive hospital bills and trauma they have to live through, and batman indirectly kills by letting monsters lukthe joker live
I would honestly disagree. Mark would generally avoid even hurting people if he can, whereas Batman is happy to break a face At first Mark refuses to kill because he simply just thinks he shouldn't, cause he's a good person, the only code he has are his morals(which as we've seen, when changed to make killing moral, he's perfectly fine with) in the second season however it's to prove to himself and others that he isn't like his dad, the moral aspect is still there, but there is now a secondary motivation behind that
I'd like to say also, I've only seen the show and thus only as far as season 2 But from what I've seen at least, Mark absolutely knows when to stop, Maybe not on Levy's face, but he recognizes that in his outburst of rage he killed a man, and doesn't want to lose control of himself again, Because he does not want to kill But also I don't think Mark is completely unwilling to kill. If he were to truly recognize that murder is the only way to stop a thing, he would reluctantly set his morals aside for the greater good
Btw, I just wanna say whoever is responsible for adding ads the second Prime got a show actually worth the subscription price needs to be fired. Out of a cannon. Into the sun.
There's this idea established that our Mark is probably the only Mark in existence who's compassionate, good, heroic and non-murder'y, while Marks in other dimensions joined their Father's in Viltrumite conquest. I wonder, what made that possible? I wonder if it was our Mark experiencing failure and defeat multiple times? Is humility the keye to being heroic?
LMAO The beginning of this video LOL imagine if this is how Superman taught Superboy how to interrogate criminals we all Batman would teach Robin that method
What I hate about this show is that the Viltrumites are 100% right, just going about it the wrong way and in almost all cases we would absolutely be on board for an alien race to come and solve all our problems and advance us several thousand years in technology in an instant.
I still wanna know when the Batman caped cursader is coming out?! Other then it supposedly coming out Later on this year. Makes Me kinda Nervous! Because they haven’t said anything about it.
WHY are you torturing us!? Season 3 will be out in 3 years… we just went through a season 2 mid season cut disaster… Now you’re uploading season 1 scenes that came out 4 years ago…
Season 3 is gonna be out in like a year to a year and a half tops lol. They're already done all the voice lines and animation is pretty far along compared to S1 to S2's gap. It's been stated that Season 3 is going to be *much sooner* than Season 2 was after Season 1 already, and with the voice lines done, late 2025 is a pretty solid guess with this pacing. A lot of reputable sites are guessing ~Q3 2025 which looks pretty promising. Willing to bet we'll see a trailer late this year, honestly
@@Angelexa2 Ahuh… forget to mention the mid-season break. So definitely not this year… so it’s over a year and likely to the end of 2025, followed up by a mid season break = 2.5 years, so basically 3 years.
