Hey guys! I am so glad to be back with Invincible! Quick note! I did get a brand new 4k camera, but there are still a few reactions that were filmed with the old camera that need to come out. This is one of them! Love you all so much
Lol, letting human or viltrumite babies name themselves could be bad, but the species Nolan had his child with only live 1 earth year on average. That’s pretty short, and that includes infancy, adolescence, teen years, and their entire adulthood. By 3 months earth time, those babies could be full young adults already, so letting them choose their own name could work since their mental capacities likely mature incredibly fast as well.
All male viltrumites having mustaches is a cultural reason signifying strength among them. As for the art reason, Kirman and Ottelys fathers both had mustaches so they put a mustache on omniman to associate him with a dad and for the planet "viltrum" its based on the "Philtrum" which is where a mustache grows
"All male viltrumites having mustaches is a cultural reason signifying strength among them." Oh crap, so the insane "Australian Saxton Hale from Team Fortress 2 is a Viltrumite then. Yeah, knowing Saxton Hale and his Australia-shaped chesthair and psycho-jock personality, that sounds about right.
I like to imagine it’s a cultural thing but male viltrumites also just can’t grow beards and get permanent mustaches at a certain age like it’s baked into their genes
The go outside in the beginning haunts me. It’s currently 105° where I am outside. I am staying in. Edit: since everyone is asking no I'm not from California or Arizona I'm from Nebraska lol.
13:37 General Criegg is voiced by Clancy Brown, who plays Mr Krabs, & he's also in Gen V as the head of GodU, Richard "Brink" Brinkerhoff 15:10 Andressa is voiced by Rhea Seehorn, who is Kim Wexler in Better Call Saul 30:39 Thaedus, the Viltrumite that rebelled, is voiced by Optimus Prime himself, Peter Cullen.
At 23:00 when Alex said he's excited to see Rex's story arc bc he's growing on him, who all started laughing like, Oh don't worry, it's coming fast!! 😂
1:58 already speaking facts, I've many people over years criticize me for loving cartoons but it's like, they have amazing storytelling, crazy good voice work, and beautiful visuals, and people still go "You watch cartoons? Y'know those are for kids right" So? Who cares i enjoy it and thats all that matters to me.
To answer your question: Omni Man is pretty damn strong, even by viltrumite standards. Not strong enough to fend off multiple if they gang up on him, but can beat almost any other viltrumite one-on-one. With one exception. There is one Viltrumite who is significantly stronger than even Nolan. And it will be very obvious who it is when you see him.
@drnl1241 right now, Invincible is about as weak as a viltrumite can get. Save for Oliver, who was born to a particularly frail species. He hasn't figured out yet how to train and get stronger. But he does get better once he learns how to get stronger as a Viltrumite. It's not just a matter of getting older like some people think; he has to work for it, like anyone else. As for how strong he becomes, well, that's something to leave for the story.
@@timfreborg8759 Well understood! Never read the comics, just the TV Show, but I am loving it, it is already on my top 5 list👌.Avoiding spoilers has been a challenge though, that is why is so refreshing to find someone that explains the way you do. Thanks once again. I really aprecciated it.
I think the package just says "not for cleaning ears" for legal reasons, so they cant be sued if someone skewers their brain. Everyone knows thats exactly what they're for though.
its doing the opposite youre getting lot of cotton in your ear. You dont feel it but its there. It happened to me and I had to get it removed. Its gross and unsafe. There are better ways to clean your ears
"Why am i standing up for Omni man" For the same reason why we all love to defend Homelander, Dexter, Gus Fring, Walter White, Logan Roy, The Roy siblings, Saul Goodman, Tony Soprano, Joffrey Baratheon, Joe Goldberg, Barry etc. There's nothing better than watching a complex lead "villain."
Totally agree on everyone except for Joffrey Baratheon. He wasn’t a complex villain. That kid needed to go. Also, I can’t defend Joe Goldberg. He is gross and a stereotypical “nice guy” who isn’t actually nice. But I know some people like him, so…
@Ignore14 someone who spent his entire childhood tortured in a lab and grew up to know nothing else apart from hurt and a need for gratification? It's very understandable to see why someone can get why he is the way he is
"Be more insane" finally gets a turn as the major theme of a broadcast. Students of storytelling get a lesson in the concept of "Plot-driven" over "Character-driven".
I mean can Cecil really blame Debbie for not wanting to hand Oliver over to him? For as nice of a guy as he is everyone knows that his first priority would be to analyze him, not take care of him
I clean my ears with Q tips I don't ever do it to the point of hurting or discomfort and I'm 26 I feel like if my technique was bad I would be 100% deaf by now
Disclaimer, I am a TV only and just now started to read the comics (only up to roughly the end of the TV S1 in the comics, its not 1:1 lol) For the question about Nolan's strength; remember from S1 when he was explaining to Mark for real about Viltrum. He was handpicked for the missions that have one Viltrumite stationed on a planet to conquer it. He is an elite soldier. The Viltrumites that invade Thraxa also reference Nolan as 'The Great Nolan', so there's something to say about how skilled he is. Age seems to be a factor of strength for Viltrumites, but not the whole deal (Thula doesn't seem strong by comparison, so one could make the inference that she and the other two Viltrumites sent to Thraxa are just normal soldiers of the Empire). Again I don't have great insight because I'm 90% a TV only because I just started reading the comics.
Let's goooo, i just finished the previous invincible video like an hour ago and was wondering when you'd react to it next and this video just popped in time.
For Nolan to look like a middle aged man as a Viltrumite he's at least 5000 years old. Imagine trying to undo 5000 years of desensitized violence in your head. Look how numb and sociopathic the other Viltrumites are. This also explains the power gap between them and Mark. Mark is literally a toddler to them in every way.
Actually rewatching some TV Shows and movies with you is really fun, your commentary and jokes are actually so funny and relaxing in a way. Good job on the content and much love from Russia❤️
Dude, literally every time me, my girlfriend or my close friends say “it’s been a while” it’s followed by one or all of us in unison singing “it’s been a while” I appreciated that so much I filmed it and sent it to all those who would appreciate it 😂
Viltrumites DO age, it's just so slow that its nearly impossible to tell. In Thula's case, she looks older not because of her extreme age, Nolan is actually older, but because she is a survivor of the scourge virus. The scourge virus was a bioweapon meant to kill all Viltrumites and it reduced them to 1% of their previous population. It also took a major toll on the survivors. For example, despite the fact that Viltrumites can regenerate and even regrow missing limbs and organs so long as their brains and hearts remain intact, the scourge virus weakened the viltrumes so much that many of the survivors bear permanent scars and missing limbs that they lost while sick.
Bruh this is like All spoilers Ive read the comics thrice im just calling you out for new fans, this isnt cool, all the stuff about the scourge virus and population Please delete this comment, its literally like 4 seasons away you had no reason to do this
Yes, all male Viltrumites have mustaches. In viltrumite culture it is seen as a sign of masculinity and good health. In the comics Viltrumites are really big on the little social cues like that that tells everyone else of their prowess.
To answer your question about how strong Nolan is compared to most viltumites…let’s just say he’s on the average side and he’s considered the “nicest”…and considering what we’ve seen him do is a horrifying thought for who else will come
Believe it or not, people can survive a shot to the head. There was one guy who survived a pole being shoved all the way through his skull. So yeah, it's not impossible for Rex to have survived.
Literally one of the best shows ever created one of the best adaptations... You should read the comics lol even better, plus invincible makes many cameos throughout walking Dead and King of the Hill
Oh Alex! As for the power of Omni-Man he’s one of the most powerful of the Viltrumites. But Viltrumites can hurt each other pretty heavily if they land a good hit (I.e Omni-Man’s signature karate chop of death). Also he doesn’t die. Don’t worry.
Omniman is in the top 3 strongest viltrumites, hes a hero among the viltrumites, he's known as "The great Nolan". I would rank him 2nd, hes slightly more powerful than the #3 ranked viltrumite. I didnt include eos mark in my list, but if you do include him then omniman drops to the #3 ranked viltrumite.
I'll have you know I just worked 8hrs in the sunshine today. I'm home now. Beers half drank joints half smoked and I'm here to see some shit. Don't come at me bro I deserve this. Thanks for the upload man ❤
It's so badass that they got Peter Cullins (Optimus Prime from the OG 80's Transformers, and the Bay Films) to voice Thaedus... I don't think it clicked for me who it was at the time when I originally watched this episode.
7:40 Nolan would be in the top ten for strongest Viltrumite, but the strongest one is at least five times stronger than Nolan. Arguments could be made for his exact strength placement, BUT! combat prowess, speed, determination, and sheer viciousness also play a major factor in fights between Viltrumites. Age makes them stronger and more durable, but just like humans, some Viltrumites are naturally gifted in some areas, whereas others are not.
You should react to “Saving Private Ryan” it’s an amazing movie, and i think you would enjoy it! It had a warning label because in the begging it was so realistic it would activate vets ptsd from it.
You are absolutely not supposed to clean your ears with queue tips. Your ear wax comes out of your ear naturally. By trying to pull it out via a queue tip, you are just shoving it further in and risking impacting it in the canal or if you push it to far you can perforate your ear drum.
